Brooklyn's POV
I sat in my room, studying for the test we were going to have in World History. Things had gotten quiet and I had gotten bored. I loved history, but I didn't like to study alone.

Thea has been leaving a lot to go 'work'. Yet she never tells us what she's working on. It's been a bit sketchy. She told us not to worry about it...but I can't seem to not worry.

I picked up my phone and texted her:

Hey, whatcha doing?

Working...like I have been.
Why is something wrong

Yeah, having a few mechanical
difficulties. Could use your help atm

Alright omw

So I lied a bit...but I didn't feel that bad about it. Nobody was doing stuff today. We were all just chilling in our rooms. I hadn't even heard much from the son and daughters of Loki and Thor. That was very abnormal.

I got up and headed out the door. I stopped by each of the rooms. They all agreed that we needed to do something today. Luckily, Artemis and Castiel had their ban lifted. They were now able to travel and such.

We all gathered by mine and Thea's room door. We watched as Thea walked towards us, "Hey guys. What's going on?"

"We are bonding today."

"But you said-"

"I know," I told her. "I was lying."

"Brooklyn, I don't have time today. I'm w-"

"Working? Yeah, we've noticed. You have to take a break every once in a while. Maybe you'll notice something you didn't before."

She took a long sigh, "Fine. But I probably won't get it finished by Christmas if we meet up once a week like this."

"Who says we're going to do that?" Leanne asked.

"Brook said to bond, right? And unless we keep that bond strong, I don't know how our team is going to be. And I need a break sometimes. I tend to overwork myself...I'm sorry."

"Ah, it's alright," Castiel waved her off.

"Yeah, we all know how it is," Alek nodded.

"Just don't overwork yourself to death," I laughed.

"I don't plan to," she replied. "Where are we planning on going anyways?"

"So we're just walking around the city?"

"No, I was hoping to head to the park," I replied. "But seeing the city would be nice."

"Yeah, the city pretty cool," Thea nodded.

"Asgard is better," Leanne said.

"Agreed," Echo and Castiel spoke up.

"Wakanda's the best," Tau argued.

"I'd have to agreed with Tau," Nicole answered.
