Third Person POV
Thea stood by Brooklyn's side as the doctors at the Academy took a look at her. Her father was standing right next Thea for a while before walking out. All the infirmary's rooms were filled with injured people; luckily, nobody was dead.

After the doctors did what they had to, they left, leaving Thea with a very conscious roommate.

"I'm going back out there, Thea."

"No, you're not."

"You don't control me."

"Yeah, well the doctors do. They said rest."

"Screw the doctors. I'm fine."

"Brooklyn," Thea tried to not let her temper get to her, "you got stabbed in the side while trying to hold up a building. You're not going out there. You need to rest. All of the team does."

"I'm fine. I just have to walk it off."

"No. You're not going back out there, and that's final," Thea turned and left the room. As she made her way down the hall, everything that had just happened began to cross her mind. Brooklyn might be right, she thought to herself. We might all just have to buck up and go on out there. There's a new ship coming in soon; we have to attack that one too.

"Hey, Thea," Leanne and Echo interrupted her thoughts. "Is Brooklyn alright?"

"She fine," Thea nodded. "But she's not going back out there. Not until she heals. And I think we should all just take a break."

"Break?!" Artemis was stunned. "Thea, we need to go back out there."

"Yeah, I agree," Castiel nodded. "We can't just let the Academy unprotected. What if he comes back?"

"Awe, is the bad guy getting soft?" Toni laughed.

Castiel pointed the tip of his staff at the girl, but was interrupted by Toni's sister, "Down, Cas. But are you sure you guys are well rested?"

"Yeah, Thea!" Tau and Alek nodded.

She turned to Nicole and Castor. They were both sitting down in chairs. Nicole shrugged, "I'm good."

"I'll be alright," Castor agreed. "I'm just a little weak still."

"Come on, Thea," Artemis smiled. "Let us go."

"Yeah, let us go."

Thea turned around to the voice, "You need to be in bed resting, Brook!"

Brooklyn lifted up her shirt to show that the scar was gone.

Thea rolled her eyes. She turned to Brooklyn's father and whispered, "Screw you, and your freaky genetics." She turned back to her team, "You guys really want to go fight?"

"Yeah!"

"Alright. But we aren't going to be going in with pure luck because we just did that; look what happened."

"Alright, so you have a plan?" Leanne asked.

"I do. But I need you guys to trust me."

"I do," Brooklyn stepped up to her roommate and nodded.

"We do," Echo spoke for the team.

Thea looked to her group of tired, ragged pile of Walmart-brand superheroes with stubborn faces. With a sigh, Thea nodded, "Okay." The group began to cheer before could start speaking again. She got their attention none of the less, "Hey! We don't have much time to work out this plan."

"What do we do first?"

Thea thought for a minute. Then she understood, "We need to get to the classroom with the cool screens."

"That's engineering," Toni smiled. "Building 435."

"Right. Let's go-"

"Um, no."

Thea and Brooklyn turned to Tony, who had his arms crossed. They were baffled by what he had said.

"Listen kids, that thing is bigger than you," Tony told them.

"I agree with Stark on this one," Steve nodded. "You guys are too young to be risking your life like this."

"But you can be eighteen to go off to war for the USA?" Thea retorted. "That doesn't seem right."

"She's got a point," Brooklyn nodded.

"No," Tony stopped her. "No, she doesn't. And even if you guys did go out there, I highly doubt you could defeat him."

"Oh like you guys?" Theadora argued. "Last time I remember, Thanos is out there and alive, looking for the last stones he needs to wipe out Earth. And didn't you guys try to get rid of him...twice?!"

Everyone had gotten silent. They all watched as she was about to go off.

"Both times you fought, you lost people. First it was half your universe; the second, someone actually died. Maybe you missed something we can help with. Maybe there was something we know that you didn't before. Maybe nobody will die this time."

"What is it with you and people dying?" Tony asked. "Why do you always bring up me dying-"

"Maybe because I don't want to lose you again, Dad!" There was a sense of unwanted attention in the waiting room of the infirmary. "Also I have people I need to look out for! I can't just continuously go back in time and change everything."

"Excuse me?"

Thea's eyes went wide, "Shit." Brooklyn didn't even try to say anything at this point.

"Hey, I coined that word," Pepper was by Tony's side. "And you don't speak to your father that way. Ever. Now explain yourself, Theadora."

She looked to Doctor Strange, who gave her a shrug. But before Thea could explain, her father pipped up, "No, don't look at him. Look at us. What did you mean when you said go back in time again?"

"You really want to know?" Thea placed her hands on her hips. "Fine. I went back in time with Doc a few years ago to save you. If you couldn't tell, I did. And I think I created a gap in time when I remembered all of it. But you know what? Ever since I saved you, you've been...almost trying to...kill yourself by doing things I tell you not to."

Tony and Pepper were too stunned to speak up, so Thea did instead, "I just need you guys to trust me. Strange did. Why can't you?"

Strange put up his hands, "I never said that. Don't get me dragged into this."

Things got quiet again. Brooklyn broke the silence while everyone was just staring at each other, "So...to the Engineer Building?" And with that, they all walked out.
