Thea pushed the metal back, making Thanos tumble backwards. Thea turned to her father, "Stay down. I've got this. Please, trust me."
He went to argue but was too weak to try. He laid back against a rock nearby. He watched with a smile as his eldest daughter took a step towards the man.
Thanos threw the metal aside. He glanced to her hands, "I don't see how you're worthy to carry that."
"You'd be surprised at what I can do," she smirked. The two ran at each other. Thea got the first hit with the hammer. Thanos flew a few feet away in the field.
He squeezed his hand into a fist. The last stone, the Power stone, was glowing a purple aura. He stood up, smiling. He lifted his hand. Thea felt herself getting lifted into the air as well as a few metal pieces.
The pieces flew at her. On instinct, since she couldn't dodge them, she shot at them. Many broke apart, except for one that hit Thea in the leg. She yelled in pain as she fell to the ground.
Before she hit the ground, Thea threw the Mjlonir towards Thanos. It hit him straight in the forehead. He fell backwards.
They both struggled to get up. When they did, Thanos stood a little wobbly. Thea blasted him with one of her hands. She blasted him five seconds later with both hands. He had burn marks all over him. She then blast him with her chest and hands. He cried out in pain and fell to the ground. That had given Thea time to get up and get to him.
She limped towards him. She had both of her hands out. Come on. Come on. Something flew into each hand. The Mjlonir was in her left and the Stormbreaker was in her right. She smirked to Thanos, who was slightly conscience. She limped towards him.
He opened his eyes to Thea. She swung the large axe, cutting off his hand. He howled in pain. He began to bleed, but it wasn't normal blood. But then again, what can you expect from an Intergalactic man?
She dropped both of the weapons to the ground. She squat to his level as she told him, "Before you die or get banished from existence, which ever comes first, I was you to know that you were defeated again. And I want you to rennet who you were defeated by. I am the Iron-Warrior."
She got up and went to the gauntlet. She picked up the last stone: the Power stone. Before she picked it up, she could sense how powerful it was. She was nervous. What if I die like my father? What happens if—no, stop it. She lifted it as she stood up.
It tingled in her fingertips. It was going to be a strong little bugger.
She looked out to the ground, "Come on, guys."
Each of her friends who had a stone came forward. They didn't seem scared. Compared to the parents in crowd, watching anxiously to the teens.
"Alright make a circle around him," Thea instructed. They didn't. Thea was in between Leanne and Brook. On the opposite side of Brook was Alek, then Artemis, then Nicole. The original six.
"Place your stone in your right hand," they did so. "Hold hands with the people next to you. You should have a stone in each hand now."
"Yep," most of then nodded.
"Now, before you squeeze the others hand next to you, I'm going to tell you what you need to say at least twice. Say, 'We, as children of our galaxy, hereby banish Thanos from existence."
"Wait, what?" Thanos tried to get up.
"Ready?" Everyone nodded to Thea's question. "Good. Now squeeze your hands tight and say those words, in unison."
"We," the kids started, "as children of our galaxy, hereby banish Thanos from existence."
The group slowly began to rise into the air. They almost had a freak out before Thea reminded them they had to say it one more time. The circle became larger as they were being spread out by the power of the stones.
The teens began to feel pain. It wasn't a dying pain, but it was hurting them a lot. They squeezed each other's hand as they repeated the statement.
The parents and friends watched as the kids began to glow by what stone they had. For instance, Thea was purple, Brooklyn was green, etc.
Slowly they began to spin. The closer they were to the end of the sentence, the faster they went. All of them by this time had closed their eyes.
"Oh god, I'm gonna get sick," Artemis sighed.
"Artemis, if you puke on me, I will kill you."
"I swear to god I will," she took a deep breath.
"Shut up," Thea spoke up. They went even faster as Thea imagined what would happen to Thanos. After a few more seconds she shouted, "Okay! Throw them up!"
In unison the kids threw up their stones. There was a pause in time as the stones came together. Then all at once, a bright light appeared. Even the parents and friends had to cover their eyes.
When the stones came together, they blasted down to Thanos. The kids were blasted into separate spots of the field by how power the blast was.
When the parents and friends opened their eyes, the six kids were gone.
Thea's POV
I opened my eyes, thinking I'd see my friends. But I didn't. Instead, I was in a place. A different place than where the fight was.It was red? No, I'd say more scarlet or orange than completely red. It had an ombré effect to it.
I was alone. And laying in a clear liquid. Or it was the color of the surrounding area.
I stood up. It seemed to empty but so filled all at once. I saw something or someone out in the distance. It was a female. I walked towards her. She seemed confused as well.
"Brooklyn?"
"Thea!" She smiled. "Where are we?"
"I have no idea," I shrugged. "Did we win?"
"I'm pretty sure," she smiled. She ran towards me. I went to hug her, but she disappeared.
