Thea's POV
"Hey," I ran into the classroom. "Sorry I'm late."

"You're thirty minutes late," Ms. Shuri had her hands on her hips. "That never happens."

"I know," I set my backpack on the table. "I was up all night last night trying to make an ugly sweater."

"An ugly-" I got in her line of vision before she could finish the rest. My sweater had flashing lights blinking multicolors, our faces sewn onto reindeers and elves. Nick Fury was Santa Claus.

"That's..." she couldn't find the words before busting into laughter. "That's ridiculous!"

"Thank you," I smiled.

"Doesn't it get hot though?"

"No," I shook my head. "I made cooling vents into the sweater. Gives is a flowing feeling."

"Interesting," she nodded. "Very smart."

"I mean, I try."

"So, should we get started?" She gestured towards my half finished products. I nodded and we began to work.

Couple Hours Later •
I walked into the classroom. There stood my friend group. All of them decked out in holiday colors and pictures.

"Well look who finally decided to show up," Brooklyn crossed her arms.

"Hey," I waved.

"You're late," Leanne commented.

"As per usual," I added.

"Well, come up here with us," Tau spoke up. I followed his instructions. I sat my bag in my seat and stood in front of the rest of the class. They were going to be judging our sweaters.

First person was Echo. Her sweater had tinsel all over and a polar bear in the middle drinking a Diet Coke. She giggled, "Get it? Cause the polar bear is trying to lose a few pounds."

"Hey, if he can, he'll be light enough to float easily on the thin ice in the ice caps that are melting," Artemis commented.

The second person was Toni. She had a ball of Christmas lights making a circle in the middle of her chest like dad's original suit. Only her's was purple instead of red. "Not gonna lie, didn't put to much into it. I was doing lots of homework."

Next up was Leanne. She was wearing a sweater with a tinsel Christmas tree on the front. It had a shining star and lights as well. There were multiple presents under the tree. Each one had one of our names on it. It was pretty cool.

Then it was Brooklyn. She made a shield out of lights. Red, white, and blue. She was able to change the blinking of the lights with a remote she had in her hand. "Oh and watch this!" She told us. She turned around. She removed her hair; there on the back of her sweater was an eagle, wearing a Santa Claus hat, flapping its wings.

Then I was up. I showed them all my pictures and lights. They were amused to say the least.

Next was Castiel. I was surprised to see him participating. His sweater had the circle of who-people with the Grinch, circling a Christmas tree. Except the Grinch's face was Castiel's, and every who had the face of one of us. The tree was lit up and decorated. "But that's not all." He tapped the tree on the star. It began to sing the song, "Dawho dorra." But it was in the tune of all of us singing it.

"How did you make that?" I asked.

"Oh, just some tinsel, lights, and magic."

"No...with the voices," Brooklyn understood what I was getting at.

He smirked, "A true magician never reveals his secrets."

Next was Castor. He had a sweater with snow in the background. On the snow mounds, our friend group was playing in the snow. And the people were moving! There wasn't sound, but you could imagine it.

"How did you get them to move?" Leanne asked.

"I have powers for a reason," he shrugged.

Then it was Alek. He had on a sweater with different colored, squares covering his shirt. In each of the squares were lit up icons for all eleven of us. Tau had a lion, Nicole had a green fist, Artemis had a bow and arrow, Brooklyn had her shield, Leanne had waves, Echo had a flower, Castor had a ball of reddish-beige lights, Castiel had his staff lit up in green, Toni had a circular archreacter, I had a triangle-shaped archreacter, and Alek had a brown recluse spider symbol.

"That's crazy!" I was in awe.

"Oh I'm not done," he reassured me. He turned around. On the back of his shirt it said, Best Team: with the Legacies symbol (see above; I'll make it look better later, I promise. It's just a rough draft).

"I am Groot!" The teenage tree spoke out loud.

"That's awesome!" I exclaimed.

Artemis was up next. Hers was brown and gray. She had lights that spelt out Avenger Legacy in cool calligraphy. It also had a shooting arrow on the back of it.

Finally Nicole showed hers off. In the front, it was red with green lettering that said Nice. On the back it was green with red lettering that said Naughty. It was pretty cool.

"Alright," I spoke up. "Whose sweater was the best?"

"Alek!" I heard half the class exclaim.

"Castiel!" The others yelled at the same time.

"What?" Castiel groaned.

"Really guys?" I asked. They all nodded. "Alright, then teacher," I turned to our professor, "you pick."

"I like Castiel's," he nodded.

"Looks like you're the winner," I pay him on the back.

"Of fucking course," he smirked. "I always do."

"In your dreams, bud," Brooklyn rolled her eyes.

Castiel morphed into Brook while returning to his seat, "In your dreams, bud."

"Okay, can we get to the lesson now?" The professor asked. All of us took our seats.

As he started the lesson, Brittney Denvers leaned over to me, "I know you're dating my brother."

"And I care...why?"

"I'm watching every move you make," she threatened. "If you hurt him in any means, I will hurt every bone in your body."

"You wouldn't be able to touch me with a nine foot poll sweets," I smiled at her.

"Oh, is that a challenge?" She asked.

"If you want it," I nodded, "you got it."

"Alright, 10 PM sharp. Meet me by the fountain. Got that b-" she stopped to wince in pain. She looked back and snarled. I looked back too. Castiel and Castor were both smirking.

"Stark. Denvers. Pay attention please."
