Brooklyn's POV
It was time. The time had come for my true colors to shine.Halloween.
And I was not letting my bum-ash roommate to stop me from enjoying it. I loved Halloween because it is the one day where I can out do my patriotism without looking weird (other than the Fourth of July). And when people ask me what I'm dressed as I could answer with practically anything. Miss America, the modern Statue of Liberty, a redneck. Anything.
I leaped over to my closet and pulled it out. I had planned my outfit months in advance. I was going to be...A BALD EAGLE. No, I wasn't going to put on feathers and a beak. I had bought this onesie off Ebay a while ago.
Hope it still fits, I thought to myself as I pulled it off the hanger.
"What are you doing?"
I turned and saw my roommate who hadn't left yet, which was a shocker. "I'm getting dressed. It is Halloween you know? Why haven't you left yet?"
"I was..." she yawned as she got out of bed. "I was hoping today our friend group could do stuff and I was up too late last night. So today I get a free day."
"You actually want to hang out with us?" I smiled at the thought.
"I always do," she poured herself a coffee in her favorite mug. "Oh hey, how's your skills going?"
"Pretty good," I began to change into my outfit. "Getting stronger which is cool I guess. Nick is pushing me though."
"Yeah, I totally get ya there," She snuggled back into her bed. "Wait, what are you wearing?"
I zipped up the last of my zipper. An idea came into my mind and I smirked. I spread my arms out, "Caw caw, motherfucker."
She shook her head as we giggled together, "You're such a dork."

Nicole's POV
I woke up to snoring from Artemis. I checked my phone. It was 7:55. I had five text messages from Brooklyn. All of them saying how it was Halloween and that we needed to get together for pumpkin stuff and scary movies.I was down.
But I had to wear a costume. It was in the rules apparently. But what was I going to wear? I checked to see if Toni was up, and sure enough she was. Making herself coffee per usual. I lifted the covers and waddled my way over to the counter.
"What is your costume going to be?" I asked her.
"Oh good morning to you too Nicole," she sipped her coffee. "I'm probably going to be Spider-Man or something. Why?"
"I need ideas."
"Look them up online."
Great idea! I went back over to my bed and opened up my phone. I began my research right as Artemis woke up on a mission for coffee.
"What are you going to be today, Artemis?"
"I think..." she paused. "I think I'll be a Starbucks cup!"
"How are you going to find something in that short amount of time?"
"You'll see."

Echo's POV
"Please cousin! Please, please PLEASE!!"He stared blankly at me petting his cat.
"Please! It'll be cute! Besides we just need one more person and nobody else will do it!"
"I can understand why," he rolled his eyes. "It's ridiculous."
