Chapter 9

Nicole's POV
We all decided to gather in the gods room. Castiel kept saying it was because their room was bigger, but I call BS. He just doesn't like anyone else's.

"Who are we still waiting on?" Castor asked.

Brooklyn sighed, "Thea."

We all groaned. "Does she have to be just like her father?" Toni asked.

"He's your dad too," I pointed out.

She was about to speak up when the door opened and Thea ran in. "Sorry, I'm late-"

"Again," we all finished her sentence.

"Okay," she groaned. "I get it. Let's move on, what are we playing?"

"We have a few options," Echo placed out what we had. "Monopoly-"

"No."

"Yeah, no," Tau agreed with Artemis. "Last time we played that Cas strangled Artemis, Thea and Brooklyn got into an actual civil war, Nicole about destroyed our room, and the twins were destroying the board."

"Okay," she glared, but continued. "We have the Game of Life."

"That's boring," Thea spoke up.

"We are not doing scrabble," Echo turned to stare directly into Castiel's and Artemis's eyes. "I know what these two are already thinking."

They snickered and nodded.

"Just Dance?"

"That's a good op-"

"Absolutely not," Castor interrupted Thea. "That's too much exercise and I can't dance."

"You don't have to play it," I told him.

"But I want to be involved," he whined.

"Okay, what about Sorry?"

"I don't know," Alek told us. "We all know that'll probably not go very well."

"Pictionary?"

"I suck at art," Thea shook her head.

"Wii sports?"

"I'm not feeling it today," Brooklyn shook her head. "WHAT ABOUT MARIO KART?!"

"Yeah!" We all agreed.

Echo huffed, "Alright, what are we waiting for." We all stood up and gathered around the couch and television. "Who's going first?"

"I'll go first," Thea sat on the couch with a remote already in hand.

"Me too," Brooklyn sat next to her.

"I want to go!" Castiel sat against the couch in between the two girls.

"Hand me one of those controllers. I'll show you how to do it, Wakandan style," Tau grabbed one and stood up behind the three.

Oh this should be fun.

"Alright, we have our four contestants," Leanne spoke like a sport announcer. "They will be on the mall track. The winner gets to continue. Pick your character!"

Third Person POV
Thea chose Rosalina. Brooklyn chose Luigi. Tau chose Toad. Castiel chose Dry Bones.

For their vehicles, Thea chose a normal car with normal black wheels. Brooklyn chose a motorcycle like vehicle, which red wheels. Tau chose a hovercraft like vehicle with black wheels. Castiel also chose a hovercraft vehicle but with green wheels.
