It's You again God,
Thank You for this new day to start fresh with You! I am so grateful for Your Word in my hands and for the way You faithfully speak to me through it:
"Seek the LORD while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there,
But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud,
That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:6-11 NKJV
I choose to seek You Lord, to turn my eyes and heart back to You my God, who is merciful and always lavish in Your forgiveness! Your thoughts and Your ways are always much higher than mine!
I love these words of Yours, brought to me through the prophet Isaiah. They remind me that Your Word is not just a collection of stories from history but instead, direct communication from You that has great purpose! Thank You for allowing me to hear what You have to say to me!
Today I will seek You —seek Your voice, Your will and Your way as I go about my day. I look forward to being continually nourished as Your Spirit is within me. Not only will I bud like a tree planted by the water but I will spread the seed of Your Word to others so they too can know You!
