It's You again God,
When I think of miracles, I immediately think of You Jesus. Whether in a boat on the Sea of Galilee or amongst a hungry crowd of 5000, Your mighty power and authority was seen. Again and again the sick were healed as people believed in You. Those tormented by demon possession, were restored and those who had lived a life of sin were forgiven.
When a country's Prime Minister begins his victory speech with the words, 'I have always believed in miracles', I think of You and I am filled with confidence, knowing that the country is in good hands! An 'unexpected' swing to the governing Liberal party was reported and yet You knew all along! Against all earthly odds, our Christian leader, held onto the position You put him in and all glory goes to You! The victory is Yours and I don't believe the word miracle was used loosely! Everyone is very surprised. The polls were wrong and You had Your way!
"I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds." Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples."
Psalm 77:11-14 NIV
Your power was seen and acknowledged today and is indeed at work every day! Thank You that You are always at work behind the scenes, delivering answers to prayer —even bringing more than what I ask! Your love is so great that I can continue to expect to see miracles in my lifetime and I am greatly encouraged to keep believing that You will move in amazing ways in my life. I thank You in advance! Today I look forward to 'an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency', being You!
