It's You again God,
The first thing You drew my attention to today was the wind. Even if it wasn't still dark, I couldn't see it, I can only see the effect it has on things. It brought to mind this verse:
"The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.""
John 3:8 NIV
Jesus is comparing the work of Your Spirit in new birth to the way the wind moves, and the way the wind causes effects in the world without being seen and without being controlled by people. It reminds me of when Your disciples were waiting as You had told them to:
"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them."
Acts 2:1-4 NIV
Again I can see Your Spirit coming as a wind, not controlled by people but by You. Today I look forward to how You will blow into the gathering of Your people all over the world, changing lives as Your Spirit moves. Bless these gatherings Lord. May Your Name be lifted high!
