43. I am Significant

It's You again God,

I know You are here. I know that when I call on Your Name, You hear me.

"Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him."
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭4:3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

You pour Your blessings all around me as steady as the rain is falling upon my roof right now. You drench me with Your loving kindness:

"But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life."
‭‭Titus‬ ‭3:4-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Lord some days I admit that I don't feel particularly special, significant or worthy. My feelings can lead to thoughts that maybe I'm not good enough, that I don't do enough for You but here I am reminded of some important facts that are much better to hold onto!

I have been saved not by my own doing but by Your mercy! I am justified by Your grace and I have great hope because eternal life awaits me! These verses don't talk about what I have done but Your work and because of this I can have great hope as Your Holy Spirit lives inside of me! Thank You so much for Your Word that reassures me and quiets the condemning voice of the enemy! It's times like this that I need to be reminded that as Your child:
- I am chosen by You and adopted
- I have been redeemed and forgiven of all my sins
        - I have been justified
        - I am a co-heir with Christ
        - I am Your handiwork
        - I am free from condemnation
        - I am a temple. Your Spirit and Your life is in me

Help me to remember all through today that I am significant!

I am a branch of Jesus Christ, the true vine, and a channel of Your life.
(Jesus said) "I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to me, and I stay joined to you, then you will produce lots of fruit. But you cannot do anything without me."

I have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit.
"You did not choose me. I chose you and sent you out to produce fruit, the kind of fruit that will last. Then my Father will give you whatever you ask for in my name."
‭‭John‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭CEV‬‬

I am seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenly realm.
"For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus."
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I am Your masterpiece.
"For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
"For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Thank You Lord for these truths and for speaking to me today. Thank You for this last verse I will take with me as I begin my day:

"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.""
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
