It's You again God,
Autumn is almost over and Winter has already begun to creep in as temperatures plummet! There is nothing better than walking through the fallen leaves! Hearing that wonderful crunching sound of dry leaves that once were fresh and green in Summer reminds me of the time that has passed. Year after year, seasons come and go. Some of them are welcomed but some are hard to get through and so too in life, I know there will be different seasons to deal with. The important thing, is that I still keep coming to You!
This is my prayer in the desert
When all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer and my hunger in me
My God is the God who providesAnd this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved
Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flamesI will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is hereAnd this is my prayer in the battle
When triumph is still on its way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll standI will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon formed against me shall remain
I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is hereAll of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship
(Hillsong Worship - Brooke Ligertwood)Thank You for putting this song in my mind today, reminding me to come to You and bring my praise regardless of the seasons or situations I find myself in.
"You are my God, and I will praise you; you are my God, and I will exalt you."
Psalm 118:28 NIVEverything around me might seem to be changing but You are still God and I do have reason to worship You! This new morning I thank You for the sleep I had and the warm bed that brought comfort to my tired body. I thank You that I had food to eat and that You provided air for my lungs! I am so grateful that You were with me all day and through the night too! You kept me safe and You will be with me again today!
You are indeed the God who provides:
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19 NIVYou provide what I need, when I need it, in every season of my life and as I look back over my life, I see how blessed I have been. Help me to remember these blessings when I am going through trials or pain and to call on You with confidence, knowing that You will hear. May my faith grow as I put my trust in You in the desert places and in the times when I feel like I'm going through the fire! Refine me Lord as I trust You and declare Your goodness despite what I see. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall remain:
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD."
Isaiah 54:17 NKJVThank You for this heritage that is mine! I am so blessed! Thank You that every one of Your promises are yes and amen in Jesus!
"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God."
2 Corinthians 1:20 NIVGod You indeed are my victory! I look forward to this day with You!
"With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies."
Psalm 108:13 NIV"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
Romans 8:37 NIVHow amazing it is that You loved us so much and made us co-heirs with Jesus!
"Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory."
Romans 8:17 NIVI rejoice in all that You have done for me my God and praise You until that day when I see You face to face.
Amen.
