The hours that turned into days then turned into weeks, Y/N and Hueningkai got along pretty well. Much better than they did back at the diner. Of course, it really feels good in your heart that you're talking to your crush, instead of looking at them from afar and not doing anything but yet at the same time, hoping a miracle would happen.
The two lovers-to-be always call and text each other. The calls that would last for hours that neither of the two wanted to end and the endless text conversations that would still last, even if its midnight already.
Soobin could tell his cousin is inlove. Much more than inlove, actually. When he always glances at Hueningkai, Hueningkai is always at his phone with a stupid and hopeless grin plastered on his face.
The two like each other. They like each other more than just a friend. They want themselves to be just more than friends. But the both of them are too shy and too afraid to make such move.
Because of the fear getting rejected always eat your soul, the two of you always show your feelings for each other through actions. Being extra sweet or affectionate to one another and being all flirty and whatnot. Despite of receiving the same treatment, the two of you still can't even tell that you share the same feelings. Except for Soobin, of course. He's been watching the two of you eversince the beginning and figured it out already but can't bring himself to tell it because the situation is too amusing for him.
Until one day, Hueningkai has the guts and decided to ask you out. With the help of his "love expert" cousin, Soobin.
Soobin always takes the credit for being the 'cupid'. If it weren't for him, the two of you wouldn't be together. He always make it sure that he tells that to the two lovers every single day. At first, it was annoying but somehow, they got used to it.
Now that Hueningkai got the girl he likes and is all happy, an other part of him is still guilty of lying to Y/N about who he is. Yes, he haven't told Y/N about the truthㅡthe little facade he and his cousin had put up and the stories he told her that are not even true.
At the end of the day, Hueningkai would lie down in his bed with a satisfied smile and think about every second, minute, and hour that he spent with Y/N. Then that satisfied smile of his soon transforms into a gloomy frown. Knowing the fact that the Hueningkai that Y/N sees is a big lie and he'll soon face the reality that he dreadsㅡthe day where he risks losing Y/N would come.
Deep inside, he felt terrible lying to the person he loves and he feels like he's the worst person to ever exist. He wanted to tell the truth to make his conscience clear yet he didn't want to lose Y/N.
They say the key to successful relationship is love, trust, and honesty but what the fuck am I doing? Hueningkai thought, thinking of the numerous lies he said to Y/N. I can't even tell something truthful to Y/N just for once. God, I don't deserve her.

"Do you have to go?" Hueningkai asked Soobin sadly as he watches his cousin pack up his bags.
Soobin will leave Korea tomorrow morning. The day that Hueningkai dreaded eversince day one will come and he never felt scared ever before.
"Yep." Soobin replied as he closes his bag.
"Can't you extend?" Hueningkai asked again. His question only made Soobin sigh.
"As much as I want to extend, dear cousin, I can't." Soobin answered. He looks at the sad eyes of his cousin and now he knew why Hueningkai has been asking him if he has to go and trying his best to persuade him to stay.
