Today is my first day back at school since what happened.
Bear drove me there and as soon as we got there Isaac turned up at the same time, he came over to us.
"What are you doing here? You're not fit enough yet to come back." Isaac asked confused, "I got told I have to come in now because I've been gone for too long. I didn't really have a say." I said, "I'll be having words with the school this week." Bear said, he's been pissed off about it all morning.
Isaac walked into school with me, as soon as I walked in everyone's eyes were on me, Isaac and I never really talk in school so this is the first time people have really seen us together, "what's he doing with that skank?" I heard someone say.
"I heard she threw herself off a cliff and it was Isaac who saved her"
"she probably did it for attention."
"Does she really think she has a chance with him?"
Isaac and I had our arms linked together because I couldn't walk properly. As soon as I heard all the things people were saying let go of Isaac.
"What are you doing?" He asked, "I can walk myself." I said.
Isaac's POV
She let go of me and struggled to get over to her locker, I walked over to beside her.
"Are you okay? Just ignore those girls. They don't know know what they're talking about, okay? Don't let them get to you." I said trying to reassure her.
Before I could get another word in Cara Matthews and her little clique of hamsters walked over.
"What are you doing walking around with this tramp, Isaac? It's not good for your image." She scoffed, "Cara w-" I never got a chance to finish, "I bet she's probably faking not being able to walk properly, just so you'll take care of her. How pathetic can you get, huh?" She said leaning towards Ruby, "Cara, back the fuck off." I said, "excuse me? Fine, I'll prove to you she's faking it." She then kicked Ruby's ankle, thinking it wouldn't hurt that much because she thought she was faking it.
Ruby almost fell down in pain but I managed to catch her, Ruby's older brother, Danny, came over, "What the fuck, Cara? That's my little sister." Danny said helping ruby to her feet.
"I-I'm sorry I- I thought-" she was cut off by Danny, "you thought what? You thought she was faking it? Why the fuck would she fake not being able to do anything even remotely active for herself? Something as simple as walking? The only fake thing here right now is your boobs." Danny said with a completely straight face, I tried to hide the fact that I was trying not to laugh.
