Rub'y POV

I was in my room listening to music, Isaac was sitting at my desk and I was sitting on the bed.

I turned on my tv and the news was on, they were running a story about me, just like some update or something.

"So, almost everyone knows about the young girl from river creek who was viciously attacked by her lunatic ex-boyfriend.  It's been almost 2 months now and the police still have no leads on his where abouts.  We recently learned one of the top detectives on the case is the older brother of the victim.  The police warn that if you see this man, Jay Langley, stay away, he is extremely dangerous. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call any of the numbers on the screen." The news woman said.

"It's the same thing every week, nothings going to change. I don't think they'll ever find him." I said.

"Hey, dont day that. He'll turn up, he can't hide forever." Isaac said, I just nodded my head.

Someone knocked on the front door so I went downstairs, bear answered it before I got there so I just stood at the top of the stairs.

"What are you doing here?" Bear asked whoever it was, he doesn't know I'm standing here.

He opened the door slightly more and I could see him, he looked familiar.

Wait... isn't that the guy from the hospital?

"You know why I'm here, Bear." The man said.

They walked outside and closed the door... that was weird.

I went back up to Isaac, "who was it?" He asked, I shrugged my shoulder.

Wait a minute...

I quickly walked over to my closet and started searching for my box full of old things.

I rummaged through everything until I found the box, walked over to my bed and emptied it out.

"Come on, where is it?" I said.

"Where's what? What's up Ruby?" Isaac asked, "I think I know who the man downstairs is." I said.

"Who?" He asked..

I found it, the photo I was looking for...

I didn't notice it at first but now I see it

The back of the photo read

Dear my Ruby, keep this photo of me, one day you may want to have it with you, incase you start to forget me. I love you Ruby.

"My dad." I said...

I walked downstairs and they were in the living room, they never seen me at first.
