Bear's POV

"It's about ruby. We found a body."

My heart sank, I threw the phone down.

I shot up and grabbed my keys, "Danny, Axel, Hurry up!" I said, they ran down the stairs and we all got in the car and drove to the station.

"Where is she?" I asked walking in.

"Listen, Holt. W-"

"Where is she?!" I shouted.

"We're not even sure it's her, I've never met her I've only ever seen photos of her, and with the decomposition of the body, it's hard to tell, but she does look like Ruby." Lexi said.

She took me to the morgue in the basement.

"Before you go in we need to show you some things first." Lexi said.

"This was the items found along with the body." She said.

She pulled everything out of a drawer, "No." I whispered silently.

"Is this her belongings?" She asked, I nodded my head shakily.

It was her necklace that I bought her when she was a baby, it just has the letter 'R' on it. it was covered in blood

And her shoes she was wearing that night.

And the dress Isaac got her, also covered in blood.

And her keys were found too.

"Come with me." She said.

She took me to the room, "are you sure you're ready?" She asked, I never said anything.

"I'll do it." I said after a minute.

I grabbed the handle of the drawer and slowly pulled it out.

I still hadn't looked yet.

"Is it her?" She asked.

I turned around and looked, as soon as I seen the body I just threw up, "Oh, god." I said kneeling down.

"Is it her?" Lexi said kneeling down beside me.

"No, that's Jess. Whoever this sick bastard is dug her body up from her grave." I said trying to contain myself, "Collins you need to get down here, ASAP." Lexi said over her walkie.

A Few Hours Later

We're still sitting at the station, they had to ask us a bunch of questions because Jess' grave had been dug up.

id never seen her body before, when they asked us to identify her I wasn't there, I was out of town, so Danny had to do it.

Some of her body had already started turning to just bone, but her face was still intact.

Eventually someone called me upstairs, "look, I know this isn't what you wanna hear, but Ruby's dress was soaked In blood, we ran some dna samples and it turned up her blood, theres also someone else's blood but we can't find out who it is, it isn't Danny's so for now he's in the clear. But, bear, there was a lot of blood, and with the tears on the dress it seems as though they slashed her stomach, so we know this person is armed." He said.

"I'm gonna go take Danny and axel home and then I'm coming into work, there's gotta be something we're missing." I said, "Bear you don't start for another 6 hours. Go home and get some rest." He said.

"I'll see you in half an hour." I said before walking out.

Isaac's POV

I woke up to a text from bear telling me what happened during the night.

It seems like whoever has ruby is seriously messed up, I mean getting Ruby's sisters body out for the police to find, and putting Ruby's clothes on her, that's so fucked up.

I walked into school and straight away Cara walked up to me.

"Hey, Isaac! Come with me second." She said.

I rolled my eyes, I followed her to the science room.

"So, since you're single, and I'm single. What do you say we bring back an old flame?" She said gripping onto the edges of my jacket, I pushed her hand away.

"I may be single but it doesn't mean I'm available. You and I will never happen again, not after the way you treated Ruby." I said.

"How can you do this? Huh? I've known you for so much longer, and you toss me away for some girl you just met!" She said stomping her foot after she said it in a childish manner.

"Because I may have known you for longer, but she's been the best thing that's ever happened to me, I was depressed when I was with you, you treated me like shit and you were sleeping with a new guy every week and just wanted me for show, you only want me now that you can't have me." I said.

"I hope you know you're making a big mistake, your reputation is plummeting, you need me." She said.

"Honestly the only person who's reputation is plummeting right now is yours, and even if being friends with ruby or even dating ruby meant the whole school hated me, I'd still be friends with her." I said.

"You have no idea what you've just done, honestly, I'm glad she's missing, things are better around here now that she's gone. I hope she never gets found." She said, she then turned her heels and walked away.

After she left I got out my phone, I started looking at old texts between me and ruby.

Isaac 💕: I see you.
Rubinator💙: weirdo.
Isaac 💕: you love it, Rooby. x
Rubinator💙: never call me that again what the actual fudge 😂😂💙
Isaac 💕: I hate that we can see each others bedrooms from our houses, all you ever do is sit on your phone ☹️
Rubinator💙: what would you rather a do? 😂
Isaac 💕: oh my god did you really just fall over the rug.
Rubinator💙: No... it was axel. Remember he and I are twins so you can't tell us apart... yeah...
Isaac 💕: you're literally different genders you aren't identical 😂
Rubinator💙: shhh, what you don't know can't hurt youuuuuuu
Isaac 💕: Weirdo... 😂anyways I'm away to bed, I'll call you in the morning, also axel just tripped over his rug too in his room, I guess you two really are twins. Goodnight x

I felt a tear run down my face, where could she be? It's been 3 weeks now and the cops have nothing, other than empty leads.

What if she never gets found?
