We've been in hiding for 4 days now, we had to leave the place we were in yesterday as i saw detectives go into the reception at the motel we were staying at so i ran and got my brothers before they noticed me.
"You suck!" i chuckled at Santiago as i beat him for the third time at the game we're playing on the xbox, "I'm letting you win" he said trying to play it off, "mhmm" i mumbled.
"Hey, im gonna run to the store do you guys need anything?" Bear asked, "Nah, we're good." Dominic said picking up a controller.
"Ruby, im gonna pick you up a black hair dye cause you dont exactly blend in with pink and purple hair and we want to go un noticed, that okay?" he asked, "Do i have a choice?" i asked, "Nope" all three of my brothers said at the same time, "What about tio? he as bleach blonde hair!" i said, "You're right. ill pick him up a brown dye." Bear said as he walked out.
"You bitch" Santiago laughed, "Hey if I gotta go boring you gotta go boring." I joked.
"Do you guys hear that?" Dominic asked, I looked out the window and saw 4 men in suits start walking over to our motel room, "shit! Some of dads guys are here." I said, before we got a chance to do anything they knocked down the door with guns, they didn't see me standing at the side and I knocked the gun out of one of their hands, he tried to punch me but I blocked it, I noticed Dominic and Santiago were fighting the other 3 guys, the one I was fighting with swiped a knife at me but I backed away from it, I knocked the knife out of his hand, damn this guy has butter fingers.
I grabbed a knife off the counter and put it through his hand, he fell to the ground holding his hand, hehe.
I grabbed one of the guys my brothers were fighting I knocked him to the ground and pinned him down and punched him, after a few seconds he got the upper hand, he put his arm across my chest so I couldn't get up, next thing I saw was him pulling a knife out and before I could do anything he started carving into my stomach, "This is for Reuben." He said, I looked down and he was carving the letter 'R' into my stomach, "Ah!" I screamed clenching my teeth, I couldn't get out of his hold.
Suddenly he fell to the ground and I saw Dominic standing behind him with a pot in his hand, Bear then walked in.
"Hey I go- oh my god what happened?" He said, "I'm fine, but we gotta go!" I aaid, I really wasn't fine.
"Some of reubens guys came im assuming for revenge, there might be more coming so we need to go, now!" Dominic said, I grunted as I stood up, "Are you sure you're Okay?" Santiago asked, "I'm fine." I lied, I pulled my t shirt down covering my stomach again and we all went out the the car, none of them had seen it properly.
"I know a guy who I was in the army with, he's got a safe house he said we can go to, he's sending us the directions just now." Bear said.
About an hour later we arrived at the safe house.
I got out of the car and felt really weak, "you good?" Tio asked, "Yeah, I jus- I just need to drink something." I said, I pulled a bottle of water out of my bag and took a sip of it.
We walked into the safe house and set our bags down, "Ruby, don't lie to me this time, you don't look okay, what's wrong?" Bear asked, I lifted up my t shirt and showed them, "Jesus Christ ruby! What the hell? You can't hide things like that!" Bear snapped.
"I'll be fine, I just need to clean it." I said.
"No, that needs stitches." Dominic said, "Oh, hell no. You are not putting a needle through my skin." I said, "Well we can't go to a hospital so it's our only option honey." Dominic said, "I'll be fine just leave it it'll close up eventually." I said, they weren't having it.
"Come on, let's go." Bear said, we walked into the kitchen and Dominic got stuff he needed to do stitches.
"I hate all of you." I said, "wait, I'll do it under one condition. You let tio and I get stoned again." I said, remember how a few weeks ago tio and I were getting stoned and bear caught us and wanted to beat the living shit out of both of us.
"No way." Dominic and bear said at the same time, "come onnn, it won't kill us." Santiago said, "Fine! But this is the last time."
About 20 minutes later tio and I were both stoned, "right, up on this table and lie down." Dominic said, "why do I need to lie down?" I asked, "cause if you do it sitting up the second you go to light down or something you'll probably rip the stitches, lie down." He said, "bossy much?" I said, I grabbed Dominics hand and jumped up onto the table, I lay down and he started putting stitches in me.
"I can't believe you're actually letting her get stoned with you." Dominic said to Santiago.
"What? It's just getting high it's not like I'm getting her out of face on acid or something." He chuckled, I blew smoke in Dominic's direction as he was leaning over me doing the stitches and he just looked at tio like "I want to murder both of you right now."

after about 10 more minutes we were done.
"Least it's gonna be a pretty awesome scar." I said.
They all just looked at me like , "you did not just say that."
"So, we murdered a man who was supposed to be your father, are being hunted by the police, had to leave our family behind, then have 3 psychos come to where we're staying and try to murder us, literally carving the first initial of the person we killed into your stomach and the only thing you have to say it's 'least it's gonna be a pretty awesome scar.?" He asked.
"Pretty much yeah." I replied.
Dominic and Santiago chuckled a little bit and that made bear laugh too.
