I can't believe it. I can't believe she's gone. I've only known her a few months but it feels more like years, we became best friends, she was my only friend.
"Isaac? What's wrong?" I heard Bear ask, "what took you so long?!" I shouted, "He... he threw her off the edge." I said tearing up slightly, "what? Who threw who off the edge?" Bear asked, "Jay threw ruby off, I'm so sorry Bear, I tried to help her." I said, bear just broke down.
Everything went silent for a few minutes until... I heard someone coughing, "Ruby?!" Bear and I both shot up, I leaned over the edge and saw her, it was ruby, there's a large rock platform about 80 feet down that she's landed on, "Bear! Bear she's alive! She must have landed on it when she fell." I shouted, "Ruby! Ruby! Ruby please answer me sweetheart you have to say something." Bear cried, "I don't think she's conscious." He followed, I phoned an ambulance and the police, "Burke, I need you to get to the waterfall at the edge of the town, bring everyone, it's ruby." Bear said on the phone to his department, about 10 minutes later the ambulance and police were here, "listen, a drop that far should have killed her, so when we get her back, there's no saying how she's going to be." One of Bear's colleague's informed him, "I'm sorry buddy." He said patting him on the shoulder.
After 2 excruciating hours they managed to get her back up, they had to wait on a crane coming to lower someone down to get her, when she was brought back up she just looked so broken, her hair was wet, her body was all twisted, her clothes were ripped, we didn't even know if she was even alive anymore.
He laid her down on the ambulance bed and started checking her over, "she's alive!" The fireman shouted.
Bears POV
"She's alive!" The fireman shouted, "oh my god." I sighed relieved, one of the paramedics went over and checked her, "her heartbeats low, barely even there. We need to get her to hospital ASAP, she'll have to go by helicopter." He said, "what's happening? Is she okay? Where's she going?!" I asked panicked, "calm down, Bear, she's getting took to River Creek Hospital, you'll have to go in the helicopter with her." Burke said to me, "Isaac. Take your bike and I'll see you at the hospital." I said to Isaac, he looked so scared, as was I, it's terrifying seeing someone so fragile looking so... broken.
When I got to the hospital she was rushed into a room, "I'm sorry sir, you can't come in here." A nurse said before she slammed the door in my face, I slid down the wall and sat on the floor in the corridor, "how could this happen, Ruby, baby, I'm so sorry." I cried, I can't believe this is happening, "please pull through, you're my little sister, every guy needs their baby sister." I said.

"where's ruby?" Isaac asked rushing up to me, "she's in there, I don't know what they're doing to her, I'm so worried Isaac." I said, "me too." He replied.
4 hours later

We walked into a small room, I think it was the family room, "so, Ruby is alive, but she's suffered a great deal of trauma, one of her ankles are snapped, cracked ribs, a broken wrist. she suffered bleeding on her brain. as you seen at the crime scene, her face was torn up, luckily no breaks in her face though, just badly cut up and bruised, she's fractured her spine. She's currently in a coma." The nurse said.
