Isaac's POV

We arrived in New York 2 days ago, it's now Wednesday.

The hotel we're staying at gave us joining rooms, meaning there's a door that goes from my room to hers, we always just keep it open.

We were currently on our way to see the Empire State Building, we stopped at a set of traffic lights and I looked over at ruby, music was playing from the car and she was just bobbing her head along to it singing the words badly.

I can't help but smile, "What?" She smirked when she noticed me smiling, "Nothing. Nothing, it's just cute." I laughed.

"I'm not cute. I should be feared by all." She said putting her hands on her hips, I just started laughing.

Moments like these just makes me wonder even more what the hell im doing and why haven't I told her how I feel yet.

I'm usually extremely confident with girls, but I've never felt anything like this before. I've been attracted to girls yeah, but I've never felt like this before. This is real.

We arrived at the Empire State Building but when we got there it was closed for construction.

We decided to just take a walk anyway.

After walking for about half an hour we didn't even know where we were, we were just taking a random walk.

We were walking down the street when I seen someone, they looked familiar from the back of their head, as we got closer he turned around. It's him. It's jay.

As soon as I seen him I went for him, "Isaac! Isaac! Wait!" Ruby shouted, "Isaac that's not jay!" She followed, at this point everyone was looking at us, "what the fuck do you mean that's not jay? Look at him." I shouted, "That's his brother, Xander! They're twins. Isaac calm down." She said grabbing onto my arm, Xander walked up to us, "Isaac. Look. Jay didn't have any marks on his neck, look at Xander, he has has a birth mark on his neck. Okay? This isn't jay. Please calm down you're scaring me." She said.

That was it. As soon as she said I'm scaring her I calmed down straight away.

"Xander." she said with a smile, she walked closer to him and they hugged, "Ruby, I'm so sorry. I heard what he done to you. I haven't seen him since the day you left town to move to river creek, I'm so sorry." He said, "It's okay. Xander, this is my friend Isaac. He was there when it happened, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here right now." She said putting her arm around my waist.

"I'm Xander. Nice to meet you." He said holding his hand out, I just looked at his hand, I didn't want to shake it.

I suddenly felt a really tight grip on my waist when she noticed I didn't shake his hand, "Ow. I'm sorry." I shook his hand, "I'm Isaac. Nice to meet you too." I replied, as soon as we done it she loosened her grip.

"I'm sorry. I know this must be weird, me looking exactly like the guy you want to murder, trust me if I could change the fact we were identical I would." He said, this guy doesn't seem so bad. I just find it hard to look at him without wanting to strangle him for what jay did to my Ruby.

Uh, I mean ruby, not my ruby. Ruby.

Ruby pulled me aside for a second, "Isaac, I know it's hard because he looks like Jay, but seriously, this guy is really really nice, he hates jay probably more than we do. And he's the one who used to protect me from jay all the time. Please just give him a chance." She said holding my hand with both her hands and giving me puppy dog eyes, maybe he's not so bad.

"Fine." I said giving in, her face just lit up, "Xander! You should come by the hotel tonight, we can catch up." She smiled walking back over to him, she gave him a hug that lasted a little too long then we left.
