Part Twenty-Five

Ruby's POV

We just saw on the news that we're wanted for Reubens disappearance, which means they don't know he's dead yet.

We grabbed our stuff and quickly left, "Keep your head down." Dominic said, we walked to the car and Santiago drove away and pulled into a side street, then pulled over and stopped the car "Fuck!" Santiago said before hitting the steering wheel, "I'm calling bear." I said panicked.

"Hello?" He answered, "Bear? Bear! Have you seen the news?" I asked, "Yeah the police came and asked if they could come in I slammed the door and ran out the back, where are you guys?" He asked, "Dominic just turned his location on on his phone, get here quick!" I said, "I'll be there soon." He said before hanging up.

We all ducked her heads down in the car until bear showed up and got in, "Bear? What do we do?!" I said in a worried tone.

"Calm down. Okay they said his disappearance which means they don't know he's dead, so this could buy us some time. I'll call Isaac and get him to go to the house and bring us clothes and stuff, Santiago you try and find somewhere for us to lay low, Dominic can you call Danny and Axel and get them to meet us too? Ruby you come with me to meet Isaac." Bear said with confidence as if this was no big deal.

"Wait what? Bear we can't go on the run!" I said.

"Ruby, honey I'm sorry but right now I'm not asking." He said, I got out of the car with bear and we walked to Bears car.

About 30 minutes later we arrived at the waterfall where Isaac was waiting on us, "all right, here's your bags, everything you need, I'm gonna come and check in on you guys every few days. Promise me she'll be okay." Isaac said, "Of course she will, thank you for doing this, Isaac." Bear said before walking back to the car and getting in, "Isaac, I don't want to leave you," I said tearing up, "Look, baby, I know. But I'm gonna come and see you every few days, and we'll figure this out and clear your names, I promise you everything's going to be okay." He said, he pulled me into a hug, we hugged for a few minutes and then we pulled away, bear got out of the car again, "You coming?" He asked, "No. I'm not." I said, "Ruby, you have to go. It's not safe for you here, not just from the police but Reubens men will be out looking for blood. You're going." Isaac said, "Ruby, don't make this harder, we're going." Bear said, "No! I'm not going on the run!" I shouted.

"Ruby! Stop acting like a child and let's go!" Bear shouted back, "I said I'm not going! You're not making me leave everything when I just got things back!" I said, "I'm sorry Ruby. I love you." Isaac said, before I could say anything he grabbed my wrist, bear cane over and threw me over his shoulder, I tried getting away but it wasn't working, "All right! Stop! I'll go with you just let me say goodbye!" I said, he put me down and I punched him.

"Okay I deserved that. Don't try and pull any smart moves, you have one minute and then we need to go."

I walked back over to Isaac with tears streaming down my face.

"I wish it didn't have to be like this." I cried, "Shh, I know baby, but we'll get through this. I promise. But right now you just need to focus on keeping you and your brothers safe, I'll make sure axel and Danny are good here, everything's going to be okay." He said reassuring me, "I love you, Isaac." I said weakly through my tears, "I love you too, Ruby. Always." He said, he leaned down and kissed my forehead and pulled me into another hug.

"Ugh, I'm gonna miss your short ass." He said, "I'm gonna miss you too, bitch." I chuckled, "I'll see you in a few day's to check in, okay? And I'll call you tonight, you'll need to get a new phone so just text me your new number, I love you, bye princess." And with that he got on his bike and left.

I walked back over to the car and got in.

"You good?" He asked, "I'm fine, just drive."

We arrived at the place we were meeting Danny and Axel, "You okay?" Danny asked as he seen my tear streaked face, "What do you think?" I snapped back, he just looked at me with those puppy dog eyes he always pulls, "I'm sorry, I'm just scared." I said, "I know, its not going to be easy, you just got to keep yourselves safe, and we'll take care of things here." Danny said, "you gonna be okay without me?" I joked to axel, "I'm sure i'll find some way to survive, babe." he said sarcastically making me laugh.

I gave both my brothers a hug and with that, Dominic, Santiago, Bear, and I all got into Santiago's car, and Danny and Axel got into Bears car and we drove our separate ways.
