98 Days Since Ruby's Disappearance
Danny's POV
Bear has been acting really strange the past couple of weeks, it's almost like he's a completely different person.
He doesn't really seem to bother with ruby anymore, he went from it being the only thing he ever cared about to it being a conversation that gets brushed away over breakfast.
Ruby's POV
Bear and I have been trying to figure out how to escape, bear still doesn't know what Deacon looks like, I still don't know how to tell him.
Today is the day we try and escape.
The only hard thing is we don't know what's outside this room, are we in a house? An old building? Are we even in river creek?
We honestly had know idea, our first step was just to get out of this basement.
Isaac's POV
Lately I've just been reminiscing about ruby and I.
Flashback
We were going through some of Ruby's stuff that hadn't been unpacked.
"Haha, here's my birth ceritificate. I was 4 pounds 7 ounces." She laughed.
"What was that?" I said noticing something on her birth certificate.
"Nothing!" She said quickly hiding the birth certificate.
At the same moment bear walked in.
"It's nothing, honestly!" She chuckled nervously.
"What's up?" Bear asked, "I've just seen her birth certificate, i think I saw something but I'm not 100% sure." bear just burst out laughing.
"So I did see something." I laughed.
She quickly tried to run out with her birth certificate but bear caught her once she reached the back yard, we were standing in the garden. "oh ruby, poor soul." He laughed.
He grabbed the birth certificate and started reading it to me.
"Surname, Holt. Second name, nirvana. First name..." bear started.
"Don't you dare." Ruby said.
"Ruby. Just let me see." I chuckled.
"Oh but... it's not ruby, Isaac." Bear smirked.
"It's..." Bear started, ruby hid her face in bear's arm in embarrassment.
"Ruthanna-Beatrice" Bear said trying not to laugh.

She punched Bear In the stomach.
"I hate all of you." She said as axel and Danny walked out and she walked back inside.
"What did I do?" Danny and axel said at the same time. Bear and I just kept laughing.
End of flashback.
I turned on the tv and there was a news story on ruby.
"16 year old Ruby Holt, younger sister of river creeks most well known and loved police officer has been missing for 3 months now, police say they don't have any new evidence at this time, and as the times been going on it's becoming less and less likely that she will be found alive. The last sighting of her was at her fathers charity event. Police say as of this point they have no suspects." I couldn't listen to anymore, I shut off the tv.
Axels POV
Ruby's been on my mind all day.
I was in class and I video came on of people hunting in the sewers and it reminded me of something that happen about a year ago.
It was a few months before we moved to River Creek
Flashback
Ruby dropped jess' ring down the sewage drain in town by accident, Jess had no idea ruby had took it.
We were waiting until night time and we climbed down into the sewage underground.
After about half an hour we were covered in... god knows what.
"I'll go that way you guys go search that way." I said.
'Danny's POV from this flashback'
"Do you hear that?" I asked ruby.
"Yeah." She said slowly.
We heard squeaking, I looked down at there was rats, they ran right past us and down the tunnel that axel was in.
"Wait for it..." I smiled.
2 seconds later we heard axel screaming like a little girl.
Ruby and I just burst into hysterics.
"Help! They're chasing me!" He screamed, I was curled over from laughter.
Eventually the rats left.
Axels POV
The rats finally stopped trying to murder me, my heart was racing.
"I could have died!" I shouted at my siblings who found the whole situation hilarious.
"Thank you for your concern." I said.

I ended up not even being able to keep a straight face either and we all just started laughing.
"Oh shit!" Danny said, he walked over a crouched down, he picked something up and turned around and he had the ring.
End of flashback
I know it seems like nothing much but those are one of the good memories that keep me hopeful.
Ruby's POV
"I can't wait to get out and see everyone, it's been so long." Bear said... he's only been down here two weeks, I've been down here for months.
"How's Danny?" He asked, "Bear what are you talking about? You seen him last." I said.
"What?" He asked confused..
"Bear... how long have you been down here?" I asked.
"Since the day you got out of hospital. You know that. I've been missing since then."
