Part Twenty-One

"Aah! You bastard!" Bear shouted, it didn't go through his neck it just ripped the skin.

"Argh!" He clenched his teeth.

He took his jacket off and held it against his neck, "Danny, ruby, stop being so fucking stupid and move!" Bear snapped.

Rueben shot, but before any bullets got a chance to hit anyone Santiago ran in the way and knocked them both to the ground, landing on top of Danny, he stood up, as soon as Rueben fired his gun, so did Dominic.

They all turned around, the first thing they saw was Ruebens body hitting the floor.

"Dad!" Ruby cried, "Ruby, stop!" Bear shouted, he grabbed her arm.

"Get off me!" She screamed, pushing bear into the wall and running over to her father.

"Dad, please, no!" She screamed.

"I can't lose another parent, please!" She said, she got on the ground and placed his head on her leg, her father looked up at her.

"I never would have shot you, sweetie." He said, "It was all an act, I knew it wouldn't have hit you or Danny." He wheezed.

"Daddy, please, don't leave me." She cried softly, "I fucked up, I'm so sorry." He whispered.

"Ruby, get up, now!" Danny snapped.

She ignored him.

"You... you and axel, I never wanted to bring you two into this, I'm sorry." He choked, "But you did. You ruined my life." She said sobbing.

"I know, baby, I know. I'm so sorry." He said, "You can't take it back now." She said

Everyone just watched their little sister sob over a man who had her tortured for months, although not a single one of them judged her for how upset she was right now.

"But right now I can't see you as the guy who's done all this stuff to me the past few months, all I'm seeing right now is the man I've been thinking about seeing my whole time I've been in here, the man I kept thinking was gonna come in and save the day... my dad." She said, you could hear the heart break in her voice.

"I love you, Daddy." She whispered.

As she said those words, his life slipped away.

"No!" She screamed.

Sobbing her eyes out, Axel came over, he dragged her away from their fathers lifeless body and took her to a quieter room, cuddling into his sister like she would die if he didn't.

Ruby silently cried into her brothers arms, when all of a sudden all silence was broken by the loud revs of a motorcycle engine.

"Axel?! Danny!" Isaac shouted coming through a door from the back of the house, he then found the hallway everyone was in, "how did you know we were here?" Danny asked in an exhausted tone.

"I could tell something was up with bear, so just to be on the safe side I put a tracker on you, axel, and bears phones, when I hadn't heard from either of you I followed it, I just knew something was wrong." Isaac said, "what happened?" Isaac asked.

"Wha- okay why are there three bears?" Isaac asked, "can you guys take him outside and explain the story about you three? I've got something I need to do." Danny said.

He walked through to the room where axel and ruby are.

"Ruby." He said trying not to cry.

"Danny." She smiled, he sat down and she gave him the biggest cuddle ever.

"I thought I was never going to see you again." He sobbed, "me too." She whispered.

"Axel... dad, he's..." ruby said choked up.

"Ruby... he tortured you for months, that's not our dad, blood or not." Axel said.

They stayed silent for a minute until they all calmed down.

The brother's then led their sister outside, as soon as Isaac seen her he grabbed her and hugged her ever so tightly, everyone else got in the cars that were outside, while Isaac and Ruby walked away from everyone.

"I missed you." she smiled, "i missed you so much fucking more, Angel." he said, "I'm sorry." she said, "For what?" Isaac asked, "i dont know im just...sorry" she said, "Ruby? Shut up." Isaac said, without hesitation he leaned over, with one hand on her waist and the other hand on the side of he neck he leaned down and kissed her.

"I love you, Ruby Holt, so fucking much it hurts, i hate myself for telling you that last time then acting like it never happned, im so sorry baby." he said, "I was just scared, id never felt this way about anyone before, and i mean anyone, you are literally my dream girl and that's saying something for someone who didn't even know he had a type." he smiled.

"Isaac, i-" she was cut off, "Just let me finish, ever since we kissed that night in new york, itwas all i ever thought about, you... were all i ever thought about, when i thought you were dead, it destroyed me, i was inches away from fucking killing myself because it hurt that badly, you mean everything to me and i dont wanna lose you again, please dont let me lose you again." Isaac said with so much determination in his voice.

"Be mine, be my girlfriend, i promise you i'll make it worth your time." He pretty much begged.

"Isaac, you don't want this, i'm damaged goods." she said, "I want every part of you, damaged or not you're you, and that's enough for me, so... will you??" he asked, "Yes," she whispered into a smile, Isaac leaned down again and kissed her like it was the last time he was ever going to be able to do that.

they all went back to the car and drove back to River Creek, the first thing they done was go to the police station, "I'm coming in with you." Bear said, "No, i want to do this myself." she said.

He sighed, knowing this would mean he would have to let his little sister out of his sight, "I'm walking you up then I'm going to sit in my office." He said, she nodded.

Ruby's POV

We started walking to the doors when Bear stopped me.

"Listen, you can't tell them about Dominic or Santiago pretending to be me, and you cannot tell them about rueben either, we murdered someone, Ruby, Santiago and Isaac are on their way back to bury the body, all you say is that your kidnapper never showed his face, you can say everything that they done, just don't say who, do you understand?" He asked.

"But, Bear-" he cut me off, "Dammit Ruby! This isn't a game, this is serious, you need to do as I tell you or we could go down and you might never see me again!" He snapped, grabbing onto arms and shaking her a little.

She nodded nervously.

No ones POV

They walked up to the precinct, Bear walked to his office and Ruby walked up to the Chief Detective, she weakly cleared her throat, "My.. My name is Ruby Holt, i've been missing for 4 months."
