The rusty ginger, perhaps bronze, dirt stood still and solid, dry under the many feet of a potential class, a tired teacher and a spy with an eye for a certain guy. Izuku's mind was in another place once again, he understood this routine, it being explained to him many times directly from his current teacher when acting as father. Words and sentences stirred together to make a blah soup, information going in one ear and out the other, not needing to double up facts his brain is aware of. A loud explosion along with an interesting word choice ruptured the young boy's swirling thoughts, knocking him from his state of serenity to readjust his feet on the ground and get into a stance of stability, balanced from the booming quakes. While fixing his posture, his head whipped around to the sound, already knowing whose quirk let off. He sighed, typical Kacchan. If someone asked, he could write a book on what and how Bakugou Katsuki would say and what he would do to any remark, any action, any whisper, anything. Now that his ears were filtering sounds once more, leaving he topics of writing books, he focused on the task at hand, repeating things he was already aware of until he heard the dumbest remark someone could muster:

"Whoa!! This is awesome!" Crap. Izuku knew there consequences to this test, always had, Yuuei doesn't give you just one test to figure your capabilities, but now, everyone else is going to face the hardships head-on instead of blindly. They all thought this was just any test to see where they landed on the base scale, but it was really to see if they even got onto the scale at all, all intentions hidden by a false thought of security like 'we made it through the exam so we should just be training to be a hero now!'.

No.

"Awesome... You say?" Questioned Aizawa Shouta, the teacher of class 1-A with an depleted and slightly annoyed voice. Here we go. "You're hoping to become heroes after three years here... And you think it'll all be fun and games?" various worried murmurs were heard, people sent vexed looks to one another, "Right." And the class was stock still. "The one with the lowest score across all eight events will be judged hopeless..." people were beginning to sweat, people other than Bakugou, "...And will be expelled." The class started shouting things, questioning where the level the fairness was set when really, they should've looked upwards to find where the bar of expectations was resting.

And we were off.

Seated Toe Touch: I'm not as bendy as some but I'm pretty flexible; training and doing yoga with Dad, reaching under the couch to get the remote, little everyday things that've helped me heaps. That and a lot of the people here looked like they were more into gaining muscle than the ability to smoothly and easily move joints through their range of motion. Sixth place.

Upper-body Training: There are quite a lot of beefy kids here, so I ranked in ninth, Pause couldn't really help me here, so I had to rely on raw strength. I'm not super weak but I'm not super strong either, I should work on that.

Side-to-side Stepping: This one I worried about but soon found a plan. Using Pause too often comes with a few drawbacks, at first I planned to step once, Pause and 'teleport', as some people said, to my next foot. After a few more moments of thinking while a pervy grape boy was blitzing the activity, I realised that I'd probably pass out after twenty. Strategic thinking commenced, a full twenty or so secondsssssss... And a new plan was in place! A better one, for sure. I went in a did my side-to-side stepping and before running out of energy, Pause. I'm pretty sure I was Paused for almost ten minutes, just relaxing and getting my energy back while peeking at everyone else and their progress. Pressed Play and bam, refuelled and ready for more side-stepping. I came second to that grape-coloured kid, almost third to some girl with frog qualities (I think I saw her during the exam), but she eventually ran out of energy while I had almost endless stamina. Hey, endless stamina, that's like a cool edition to my quirk. Neat.
