We got outside as quickly as we could and into the carriage. It was a short trip to the tailor, mostly because Amadeus didn't want this Christina girl to get mad at us being late. On the way, Amadeus filled me in on who these people were. This was a family run shop, and the people running it now – Christina, Tyler, and Leah – had grown up with him. This family had done all special outfits for Amadeus' family since the day this Kingdom came to be. It was special to him, so I was excited to be able to meet everyone and get such a special outfit made.

We walked in and there was a girl at the counter. She was wearing a cute dress and not only had her makeup done but her long blond hair was done in a cute half up, half down style.

"You're finally here." She said dramatically.

"We left when Freya told us to." He shrugged.

When he said 'we', her eyes slid over to me and began carefully inspecting every inch of me. I did my best to hide my discomfort, but you can't hide anything from the man that you're connected to.

"Stop that Leah." He said firmly.

"Stop what?" She asked innocently, her eyes snapping back over to him.

"You know what." He said flatly.

She rolled her eyes, "Tyler and Christina are in the fitting rooms waiting."

Amadeus slid an arm around my waist and led me towards the back. As we passed by Semoda gave Leah a growl which got her to take a small step back. We got a set of doors, one on either side of the hall, and Amadeus opened up the door to my right. A girl who was wearing an adorable red polka dot dress with an apron over it and beautiful ginger hair done in curled pigtails was revealed when the door opened. She quickly walked over and held me by the shoulders an arm's length away so she could study me.

"You're beautiful!!" She exclaimed. Then her eyes shifted down to Semoda and her eyes grew wide.

"This is Semoda, Amadeus said that you love doing little projects so I figured maybe you could do like a collar or something for him."

"I would love to!" She grinned. "As much as I love making dresses, jewelry is another favorite of mine."

"Take care of her Chris," Amadeus spoke up.

"Oh, will you shoo already?" She said with her hands on her hips. "Us three have work to do."

Amadeus raised his hands before walking across the hall and disappearing into the other door. Christina stepped aside and let Semoda and me inside while she closed the door behind us. She decided to start off with some small talk before we got into measurements which I was completely fine with.

"You met Leah." She stated as she started gathering what she needed from around the small room.

"What's her deal?" I asked.

"Well we all grew up together and she developed a bit of a childhood crush. For some reason, she always thought that it would be the two of them in the end but then we got the word about you and she instantly got bitter and jealous."

"Should I be worried?"

Christina laughed a little, "Not at all, Leah's harmless. She'll give you some dirty looks from a distance but that's about it."

The next hour she took all of my measurements and then she measured what she needed from Semoda. There wasn't a moment of silence throughout the whole thing. I told her all about Amadeus and I while she shared stories from their childhood that had things I could bring up at a later date. By the end of it, we were definitely friends and made sure to exchange numbers.
