"Sooner or later, every last echo fades. Even the loudest thunder in the deepest valley."
~Brian K. Vaughan

Sitting on the front porch, soaking in the beautiful sunlight, reading her favorite book while drinking iced coffee. That was the perfection Ava was craving ever since the four boys entered her life and left her alone a total of 6 hours a day, and that was when she was asleep. Now, for the first time in nearly two months, she was enjoying it all when someone broke off the idle with opening the door. Ava let out a loud sight, closed her book and looked up with a roll of her eyes. She met the now blue haired Michael.

"Road trip time."

"No thank you. But enjoy."

She really hoped that was going to work all though she was almost certain it won't.

"I don't think so."

He leaned closer to her, put one of his hands under her knees and the other one behind her back and with no struggle picked her up bridal style.

"Let. Me. Go."

Ava shook her arms and legs but the green eyed boy carried her like she did nothing. After a minute or so, Ava gave up since there was no point.

"Why do you all need me on this trip anyways?"

"We're friends and we like hanging out with our friends."

Their eyes met and the blonde rolled hers to signify her annoyance. They dragged her everywhere all the time.

"Oh don't be dramatic. You always end up having fun so stop resisting it and just give in."

They stayed silent until they came to the car where Michael put her down in front of all the rest band members.

"I told you I was gonna bring her."

The three boys laughed like there was no tomorrow and Ava just stood there, still majorly annoyed.

"I hate you all."

Then she slid past them and into the car so that she at least got the passenger seat. The three laughing boys sat in the back and Michael sat in the driver's seat. Without even looking at them, Ava opened her book and continued reading and staring through the window for most of the ride.

"What are you thinking about?"

She looked up and met Michael's look. She didn't even realize that she had been staring through the window for so long.

"Nothing."

"That was one intense stare for nothing."

"Why do you even care?"

"Because I want to know what you're thinking about."

She studied rainbows face and decided that he was telling the truth so she moved a little in her seat so that they were facing more towards each other.

"I was thinking about this one quote I read: "You like the people that can't like you back because unrequited love can be survived in a way that once required one cannot."

There was a moment of silence, at least from Michael. The three boys in the back had their own conversation flowing but between the green eyed pair sitting at the front, everything went silent.

"I thought you didn't believe in love."

"I don't generally, but this is fascinating. It made me think, you know, how many people love celebrities. Do you ever think about how many girls would do anything for you? And they've never even met you?"
