"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it."
~Groucho Marx

The same night, everyone sat around the campfire. Ava sat next to her boyfriend, as happy as ever, next to him sat Sydney who was just constantly talking how she knew from the second Ava and Noah met that they were a match made in heaven. Next to the rose gold haired girl sat her on and off hookup guy Ashton. Both Sydney and him knew they won't ever really be together but some harmless fun once in a while didn't hurt them one bit. Then say Calum who was constantly turning to Ava's step brother on his right for some support because of all the couples and then besides Luke and on the left side of Ava, sat Michael. For two years he'd been out casted from that particular group of people and rightfully so. But now, that both Ava and Noah gave him a second chance, he was remarkably happy. At one point in the night, everyone was talking and Ava slowly sipped on her strawberry beer while she looked at each person in the circle. Happiness just flew threw her and Noah noticed it.

"What are you smiling about love?"

She gave her boyfriend a quick kiss and everyone was suddenly quiet and was looking at her.

"Nothing just how incredibly perfect everything turned out. I know this isn't the end and out lives won't forever feel this peaceful and perfect but right now, this is everything I could ever dream of and more."

Everyone smiled and looked at each other. There wasn't a single thing weighing on the 7 friends that night. The only thing that existed for them was that beautiful place and the fire with everyone around it. Things were, for the lack of better verbiage, perfect.

"So sis, would you say you made your dreams into reality?"

Ava smiled at the fond memory of the question and nodded.

"Yeah, I'd say this is the only reality I want. You?"

"My little sis has her life in order finally, my best friend is a better person then ever, I am talking to this amazing girl I think could really change my life and the new album is coming this year so...yeah...I'd say this could be my dreams turning into reality."

"I feel the same way. My best friend finally found herself with Noah, Mike is a good and grounded person again and this band is headed for a bright future. If this is real then dreams do come true."

Ashton added and Calum continued it as well.

"Same for me. Everyone around me is happy and not broken for the first time in years and new music is coming so yeah...feeling pretty good about life and the reality of it."

"Well I for one couldn't be happier that the two people meant for each other are finally together and, not to mention, there is only one year and a half left of university so...my reality rocks right now."

"I think this is the happiest I've been in my entire life. I have the girl of my dreams with me, I have patched up all the things and relationships that were broken in the past and my future seems to be looking quite bright so this is the only reality I want to know forever."

Everyone looked at Michael as he was the last one to say something.

"There were a lot of ups and down and I know there still will be but to be able to say I am the best person I've been in a while, is a great reality to me. Not to mention, I got an second chance with the girl with the most extraordinary mind while being able to make more new music and maintain my relationship. Right now, I think things have never been better and i hope this reality lasts as long as it possibly can."

Now the atmosphere was happy yet something was off. No one knew what else to say so Sydney took charge. She lifted her bottle and everyone followed her lead.

"Cheers to all the amazing memories we've made so far and to many more."

Everyone took a sip and rose their bottles for the second time.

"Cheers to all the things we've been through and managed to crawl up on top."

The same thing as before happened.

"Cheers to finding the kind of friends we want to spend the rest of our life with at such a young age."

"Cheers to all the upcoming adventures."

"Cheers to all the tears, laughter and loved spilled between us all."

"Cheers to all the second chances given and all the changes we've made to be better people."

And then, all eyes were on Ava as the squad rose their bottles for the last time.

"Cheers to creating our reality."
