Kevin POV

I have been in this hospital room for a week, not even leaving for food and drink. Joaquin's still unconscious and I want to be here when he wakes up. I always tell him that I love him and that I want him awake but I never get a response. I kiss his hand and sigh softly,
"You're perfect baby, I don't know why you did this to yourself. I should've been there to stop you." I say while caressing his cheek softly. I then hear a small voice trying to say something but I think nothing of it until I they get slightly louder and noises link together.
"I didn't do it," I look at Joaquin and see that his lips were moving "I promise I didn't." I stare at him in  disbelief. His eyes are still closed but at least he's talking,
"What do you mean? Did someone do this to you?"
"Bulldogs. Not Archie though,"
"Do you think they tried to kill you?"
"Yes."

I gasp softly and hug him tightly,
"I'm sorry Joaquin, you don't deserve that. I will kill anyone that hurt y-"
"Please don't bear, I don't want you getting into trouble." He says while slowly wrapping his arms around me with soft groans, clearly in pain,
"Hey hey, take you time." He slowly opens his eyes too and I smile softly at him. Joaquin looks at me,
"You still love me? I heard everything you said while I was out"
"Of course I still love you baby"
"I still love you too bear." We smile at eachother and he slowly leans up to kiss me. I kiss him back and hold him up. I trace a heart on his side as we kiss and he soon pulls away.
"It was Reggie and Moose who cut me by the way. They all threw me in the pool together and held me down as I screamed and tried to get out. When I went unconscious, they left. I don't know who found me but I'm glad someone did. I didn't want to die thinking that you hate me." I nod softly,
"I'll call Alice and tell her and I'm glad someone pulled you out too." I said before kissing his head and calling Alice, telling her what Joaquin said to me. She said she'd try to look through the school CCTV to see if she can find anything before hanging up.

I sigh softly and look at Joaquin who's staring at me lovingly. I smile at him.
"Can you help me sit up bear?" He says, slowly stretching his arms out to me. He nods and I sit on the side of the bed, putting my arms around his back while he put his around my neck. He slowly help him sit up then I sit opposite him, still holding his back to stop him falling. His nurse then walks in, smiling at us both.
"You sure do end up here a lot don't you Joaquin," he says with a light chuckle. Joaquin chuckles too,
"Hi Dan and yeah, I just have bad luck I guess." His nurse, Dan, nods softly and starts to check him over. Dan then turns to me with a smile,
"Can you help me stand him up Kevin? I think he'll be alright to walk. Just put an arm around his waist and hold the hand that will be around your neck. Joaquin, all you have to do is put your arms around our necks and put on foot in front of the other, taking all the time you need. It might feel hard at first because your legs will hurt but the more you walk, the easier it will be."

Joaquin nods and we help him move so that his legs are hanging off the side of the bed. Dan sits the other side of him and Joaquin puts one arm around out necks each and we hold a hand each. I put my arm around his waist and Dan puts his arm around his back. Dan and I stand up at the same time, helping Joaquin up and he slowly puts one foot in front of the other, groaning in pain. I rub his side.
"Take your time. We'll walk to the waiting room where some visitors are waiting for you," Dan says and Joaquin nods, slowly taking more steps to the door. We finally get out of the room to see Cheryl, Toni, Sweetpea and Fangs sitting there. They all surround us, asking Joaquin why he did it and if he's okay. I explain what he told me about the bulldogs and as I do, Archie runs in and pulls Joaquin into hug nearly causing him to fall.
"The dogs told me about what they did. They were bragging out it and I'm so so sorry. I left they, I gave my jacket back because there's no way I'm playing football with them again." Joaquin hugs back,
"It's okay Arch, I don't blame you." And that's when we hear two more pairs on footsteps...them
