Chapter-3- anyone here could be a vampire

I really wish that Maddie didn't convince me to come to this wreck of a party. If she didn't then I wouldn't be stuck staring blindly rereading this note to see if it would somehow magically change words. But it didn't i was staring at this note with the words that spelled out:

BITE ME

YOURS TRULEY,

-BLOOD SUCKING DEMON

At this moment I really wished that I had just stayed inside the party. Or at least stayed home! see now if I was at home right now reading my book nothing like this would have happened?! Now would it!?

I've gotta have a serious chat with Maddie.

I'm never, and I mean never going to come to another party in my life. Maddie can go party all night, and meet up with a vampire if she'd like. But I'd rather not. So good bye social life!

But what I couldn't get out of my mind, was how close to a human he looked. If I never saw his fangs, I probably would have thought that he was just another teenage boy. How wrong I would have been.

thanks a lot Maddie! I blame you! But I can't tell her about what happened. Can I? I mean,what I saw today was unimaginable and unforgettable. I low know if Maddie would want to live in a life full of fear. Full of living in the shadows, scared that each time you breath, that it might be that last.

I slid the sticky note into my pocket making sure not to put it in the pocket with a hole in the bottom, witch is oddly shaped like a heart now that I think about it. Not hat right now was a good time to be thinking that.

I honestly don't know why I'm keeping this note. It's the most freakiest thing I've read in like,,,,, EVER!

Geez, does a vampire actually know where I live? did he really call him self a blood sucking Demon on the note he left me? Does he ever turn into a bat? And if he does does his cloths come off and then magically re appear? I thought to my self

'yes. Yes. No, that's a dumb rumour mortals came up with and no that's just stupid.'

I heard a voice in my head, it sounded familiar, kinda like joss. Wait, was that joss? My head spin with confusion, fear and questions that would never be answered.

'How are you in my thoughts?' I asked in my head hoping he had heard me. 'It's one of my many vampiric skills' he replied.

Well no duh, I was thinking that everyone could just jump into someone's thoughts and start talking. Wow, that just changed my view of the entire world. Note the sarcasm.

'Oh yes, some of your screwed up abilities that are apparently possible in this screwed up world!' I shouted in my head. That's possible right? And I didn't just get even further on his bad side. Did I? My life is officially screwed.

He all but chuckled and replied with 'You word it differently then i would little worm.' he mocked.

'I said don't call me a freaking worm.'

' why not? It suits you.' He says calmly like we are old friends.

'Well why are your sharing all this information with me? Or do you get all close to your next victims?' I blurted.

No answer just silent. 'Hello? blood sucking demon? you still there?!' but still no reply.

I'm thinking that there's something I should know. Is he hiding something that I should know? I'm not special or anything. Can't he just kill me and get it over with.

I was still thinking about joss, and how messed up my life got in one night, when Maddie opened the door to see me.
