"It can't believe it has already been a month" Kit said as he sat next to Ming "My whole body is in pain", he continued rubbing the back of his neck "I think Forth would kill me before Azure's"

Ming chuckled as he took over Kit's shoulder massage "How was your day?"

"Could have been better" Kit smiled as he leaned into Ming's experienced hands "How was yours?"

"Math quiz sucked" Ming said with a smile "I think I should quit studies and become a pro-fighter"

Kit quickly turned and glared "That idiot Pixie is putting rubbish ideas into your head"

"He is not an idiot and you know it" Ming sighed, "He is helping us Kitty"

"I don't care – he is nothing but trouble for both Phana and Beam" Kit said with a pout "Why is your brother such a dumb idiot"

"Was he not your best friend before my brother?" Ming smiled, he had become used to his siblings but still had problems connecting with Alec and Lien. They were still strangers and things always got awkward when all three were in the same room.

"He is just flirting with Beam and that sucker has fallen head over heels" Kits sighed, "I don't think Forth is serious about him"

Ming sighed, he felt it too. Forth was only flirting but Beam was falling fast. What hurt more was the pain he could see in Phana's eyes whenever Beam would smile in response to Forth's flirting.

"Beam loves Phana" Kit said slowly, "But he is too dumb to realize it"

Ming raised his eyebrows "Did he tell you?"

Kit shook his head, "Nila could tell – she said Tee is Pha's mate and both of their wolves are in pain, because both their humans are such morons", he sighed "her words not mine"

"we are not interfering right?" Ming asked a bit worried, he had come to know that Kit is very protective and impulsive when it came to his friends. Sometimes he was like the mother hen of their groups

"Kit" Ming asked again "No, we are not", he finally agreed.

"Anyways" Ming's tone changed cheerful "My dad's birthday is this Saturday and I want to celebrate"

"Saturday as in tomorrow" Kit asked to confirm, he couldn't believe someone would be so late to plan for birthday party

"Yes" Ming said "Nothing big – just you guys, Sean and Carla... er.. Alec and Lien"

Kit sighed "Sure – it's about time we had some fun after day and night of training", and mentally started planning for the cake , presents and decorations.

"Again" Forth said as Jihyo shot him a murderous look "You will still be dead babe" he said "Looks don't kill". They were all training at the clearing that opened into the deep forest behind Ming's house – which kinda now served as their gathering place.

Ming's dad had gladly invited Forth into his home and was happy to know Ming had so many people who loved and cared about it. He didn't seem to mind craziness that surrounded them for he could see the genuine love and care among them.

"Don't babe me" Jihyo shot back before picking up the sword to attack him.

Jihyo trained with sword while Irin and Posh had grown an affinity towards crossbows. They both were on the other end of the field practicing.

Jisoo had downright said no to any weapons despite everyone trying to convince here. After a week, Forth had given up saying your life your call.

"Yeah there is only one babe on the grounds now" Forth said turning his attention to Beam who was practicing martial arts with Ming, trying to overthrow him. Forth sent him a wink when they made eye contact making the younger blush harder.

A sharp pain shot through his arms, where Jihyo had cut him "Never take your eyes off your enemies" she said as he gave him a stare and walked away yelling "I am done"

Forth held his bleeding arm tightly as he watched her walking away. Something in him hurt to see her turn her back on him. He sighed, but shook his head as he walked towards the table to grab a bottle of water.

"Are you okay?" Phana walked towards Forth, along with Kit. They had finished their training as well.

Forth shrugged, and looked at Kit who was shooting him daggers "You have the same look in your eyes as your friend only less intense"

Kit gritted his teeth "Stay away from Beam"

Forth chuckled "Why is your Alpha not up to a challenge?"

Phana growled, causing Forth to smirk as he had succeeded in trying to provoke Phana, but Phana just walked away a second later.

"He has too much control" Forth said as he looked at Phana who was walking towards Posh, who sat their doing his homework

"As if you care" Kit mumbled

"Believe it or not" Forth turned to him "I really do care, we really do need a level headed Royal in these times, but I want to know his breaking point"

Kit was surprised by the honest reply, and that caused Forth to laugh "Look, I am not here just to piss him off – I have lost so much in the hands of Azure's and I want them gone'

"You never answered, why you volunteered to train us" Kit asked slowly, he always thought Forth had his own reason, one which he never shared

Forth just turned and shouted "Guys – we are done for today"

"What are you not saying?" Kit asked again as everyone slowly returned towards the table breathing heavy or groaning in pain.

"You all did good' Forth said, ignoring Kit's questions "See you all tomorrow"

"Err" Ming cleared his throat "Actually - can we not train tomorrow, It is my dad's birthday and I want to invite everyone for a small party tomorrow at 5"

Forth shrugged, while Posh looked at him in disbelief "You are telling us know"

Ming shrugged "I never had any party before... so I don't know, besides – it is just within family"

Irin smiled "Yes, just family" she turned to look at Phana who nodded.

"Forth" Ming called "You are invited too"

Forth looked a bit taken aback "I don't want to impose"

"Na..." Ming smiled, "you are a part of us too". He quickly glanced once towards Jihyo before rounding his hands around Kit. "My first party ever" he said with a happy smile "I never had one with friends before"
