Forth gripped his fingers around the steering wheel as he saw Irin continue to bleed through the rear-view mirror "Why didn't you teleport us, elder witch" he threw his frustration at Jihyo

"because I didn't want us ending up in pieces around the world" Jihyo snapped, she was exhausted, feeling guilty and worried. Forth was making her worse.

Ming kept checking on Irin and Posh as well, but he also noticed the panic in Forth eyes, which didn't make much sense. They all had skin wounds but nothing that won't heal in a day or two with medicine.

"What is wrong Forth?" Kit asked, sensing the panic in Forth

Forth only shook his head, but continued to speed up and in no time they reached their pack house. Phana and Beam rushed to the door, very next second the car stopped "Are the Okay?" Phana asked, after seeing the expression on Forth face.

He dragged Irin out from the car and checked for injuries, who only held tight to her brother

"How did you guys know ..." Beam could not finish the sentence when Posh answered "We were at home, picking up some books while we heard Phana, no Pha's call"

"Us too" Jisoo said, "we just knew where to go and by then Forth was on his way to pick them", she pointed at Posh

"We heard it too" Ming said, he continued "not heard heard, like a siren but inside us"

Beam sighed "Pack minds are linked – it is like telepathy"

"then why was Sean's pack nor our parents didn't know" Phana wondered as he still had his hands around Irin

"As much as you want them to be" Beam said with a small smile, "they are not our pack. We can discuss more, but let's go in first and treat the wounds"

"I need to call mom" Posh said "She will have me served on a silver platter if I didn't"

Phana nodded and turned to Beam "Call Sean and Marla too". He let Ming take Irin into the house as everyone followed, "Forth, stay for a second"

Forth sighed and stopped, but his expression clearly stated that he was in no mood to talk

"Irin is not Dew" Phana said in a soft voice "she is fine, and she will be fine. You and I will make sure of that"

Forth choked back his tears "How?"

"I felt everything in the circle" Phana said "I am sorry"

Forth looked away "I need some air" and with that he walked away.

"We could not catch their scent" Sean frowned as Earth who was patrolling next to the lake said "I could not even hear them fighting and I was right their"

"They must have cast a glamour, not wanting more wolves attacking" Lien said her eyes sharp as it rested on Phana "It was stupid of you to go there alone, you could have been hurt – did you think about us?"

Phana nodded "sorry mom... I just"

"I am glad you are okay" she sighed as she hugged him, Marla walked in with Beam "Jihyo treated all their wounds and they are good as new - she might be stronger than Jaylyn ever was"

Beam sat next to Earth, "how are you?" he asked with a smile "Don't beat yourself, it is our fault for wandering off alone"

Pha growled at Beam's closeness to Earth, and Phana couldn't help but glare. Earth silently moved an inch away from Beam when he felt Phana's eyes on him.

"So, you guys are together?" Lien asked, while Marla smiled at Beam fondly, having mixed feeling about their relationship.

"No" Beam said curtly, while Phana shook his head
