"We will be there in 10 mins" Phana mind-linked with Ming and Kit, who had already reached the spot bit far from Sean's pack.

"we just reached, and the rest all are in the pack-house" Ming said "Maybe you should not bring Beam"

"Don't make me kick your ass" Beam responded, despite his words there was a hint of vulnerability in his tone that made Ming look at Kit with concern.

"Let's talk later" Kit said, "I can see Forth walking towards us with them", after which Kit and Ming went silent completely.

"What are you worried about?" Phana softly asked, a soft sob escaped from Beam, Pha growled and Phana tried to calm himself as he recollected what he had felt through their mate bond - Beam's realization, wonder, surprise, panic and finally desperation

"Everything", Beam's voice was barely a whisper

Phana broke their silence after few minutes as he parked next to Sean's car "I will kill him for making you think I might", his eyes hard as it landed on the newcomers.

"Phana?" Beam looked a bit surprised, his eyes flashed blue worried as he could sense pain from Phana

"That's what he showed you right, in the gas station" Phana looked out the window, trying to control his disappointment and anger "me walking out on you and our baby"

Phana slammed his door shut and before he knew it, Pha had taken control as he phased in blink of an eye and lunged towards Tul, who looked a bit taken aback by the sudden attack.

"No" Beam rushed after Pha.

Pha's fangs were just about to break into Tul's skin when Kimmon ran into Pha, pushing him off course making him tumble and fall on the side.

Pha instantly growled at Kimmon, while Nila stood protectively in front of Forth and the winter feys.

"Pha" Beam called running after his mate "Phana... please calm down"

"What happened?" Forth asked, looking worried between the three wolves and Beam

Pha stood still, in front of Beam but his red eyes now fixed on Tul, who looked shaken.

"I am sorry" Tul said softly "I forgot to control it for a second, but it is his fear"

"Pha" Nila called out "control yourself – don't stress Beam"

That snapped Pha out, he quickly turned towards his mate, and then towards the others. He calmed himself "I am sorry I lost it" Phana mind-linked with Forth "let's go meet at Sean's later... I want to take him home"

Forth conveyed the message to Max and Tul "okay, now is not the time – let's meet after dinner"

"Gladly" Max replied his eyes fixed on the black wolves.

"I am sorry, he just found out his mate was terrified because of Tul" Nila connected with Max and Tul "You cannot blame his for trying to protect his mate"

"Of course, not" Tul said, before Max could say anything, he then turned towards Beam "am really sorry"

A soft pink colored Beam's face as he leaned into Pha, who let out a low bark clearly unhappy with the situation "it is okay, and sorry about..."

"Let's go" Max cut them off, worried for Tul "We will meet at 8 tonight"

"I will take them to Sean's" Forth said and Kimmon nodded, as all of them watched the three fairies walk away.

Beam only hugged him tight as he buried his face into the black wolf's fur.

"Let's just go home for now" Kimmon said, and lead the way matching his pace with Nila, despite the situation he couldn't help but feel happy.
