Many things happened at once, and before anyone could understand what was happening Maeve shot out a blast of dark energy towards Kit who at the same time lunged towards her, directly in front of her.
OUT NOW" was the only words that echoed across the large room.
Max quickly ran towards the shimmering portal that Jisoo and Jihyo managed to create not thinking where it connected, covering the screaming babies with his wings.
Pha grabbed Tul, while Forth quickly picked up Beam and followed Max's path.
"Don't Close it" Forth said as he handed over Beam to Posh, and rushed back after planting the spear firmly on the ground and the golden thread secured in his hands.
Pha quickly followed, but Forth stopped him "I will be with the girls" and rushed back into the portal without waiting for a response.
Jihyo was losing her strength, while Jisoo started swaying in on her foot and Forth caught her on time before she lost conscious
"I have it here" he tossed the thread to Ming, who grabbed it efficiently as he pushed Jihyo through the portal.
Forth looked conflicted, but he took a deep breathe having known what to do "be back.... please" he connected as he rushed into the portal with Jisoo before it closed down completely, leaving back only Kit and Ming

Pha and Posh walked in silence carrying unconscious Jisoo, Beam and Tul on their back. Jihyo and Max held the newborns in their hands while Forth and Irin walked back, eyes cautious for any attacks.
They were all bone tired, unable to hold on but there was a warmth in their core that enabled them to continue walking.
"Where are we going?" Posh asked, no one in particular but it was Max and Pha who answered at the same time "Diogelwesh"
"Are you sure it will be safe?" Irin asked, but not daring to voice her concern for the first wolves. Forth gently patted her on the back "it is our only bet for now"
She took a deep breath and phase, "climb on my back" she said "we will be faster"
The wolves and fairies now travelled in their true form carrying the injured, rushing toward cover as they felt a darkness dawn up them in all direction.
"They better come back in one piece" Jihyo said, as she held the newborn close to her.

White wolf stood tall with flaming red eyes and fangs exposed, ready to attack. Maeve sneered, her rage beyond control having lost her timing.
"I will have them", she roared as she aimed another blast at the wolf, it bounced off even before it reached Kit, the force of it making her lose balance. Kit took advantage of her momentary distraction and managed to claw Maeve.
At the same time, Ming jumped in towards the north end of the cave where he felt Vulcan's presence but his missing him. He felt a strong grip around his throat managing to strangle him.
Maeve caught sight of the physical hold that Vulcan had on Ming, their shield seemed effective nly against their power but not their hold. She attempted to grap Kit, who dodged her growling.
Kit panicked seeing Ming struggling to break Vulcan's stronghold. But, he could not take his eyes off Maeve, not now, not when there was so much to protect.
"It's time" Kit connected with Ming, his resolve stronger than ever "I love you forever".
