After Scarlett's incredible win in Monaco last weekend, rumours surfaced that Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari were all looking to have her in their driver lineup for the future; however they all denied ever suggesting that
But recently, Mercedes Racing have confirmed those rumours
Their team chief Toto Wolff confirmed in an interview that they also had their eye on Scarlett before she was offered a seat at McLaren, and now they are still hoping to bring her into their team at some point in the future
"She's an excellent driver, Lando is too, and since they're both so young we've got our eyes on them for the future"
Ferrari has also confirmed the suspicions of them wanting Scarlett to join their team and race alongside Charles Leclerc in the future
"She's so young and has so much potential to be a world champion, so we want her to have the best opportunity possible, whether that's at Ferrari or McLaren"
