Q1 was good, Q2 was better and then Q3 I was just an idiot. Made some stupid mistakes and then pushed too hard to make the time back which made it even more messy.

"I wouldn't have pushed you back if you didn't first" George pushed my shoulder playfully
"Well Kev forced me into the left" I laughed
"Oh please, you guys are just shit drivers" Alex teased. The 3 of us had gone into the hotel bar for a couple of drinks after qualifying, Lando had stayed upstairs because he said he felt a bit faint
"Anyway" I stood up "I should go see Lando, I feel bad leaving him alone"
"Alright" George rolled his eyes and I hugged them both before going up to my room. The lights were off and the curtains open so we could see the bright night lights of Singapore
"Lando?" I whispered "Lando?" The duvet was wrapped tightly around his frame so I just shrugged off my shoes and changed before climbing into bed with him, he turned around and buried his face into the crook of my neck "Lando?"
"Hi" He mumbled
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Nothing" he answered
"Hey" I rolled us over so I was straddling him before pulling him up to sit with me "What's going on?"
"It's stupid" he shrugged
"Look at me," I said gently "What's really going on?"
"I was an idiot today" He sighed "It was going so well and then I just messed it up! And now you guys were all joking about me on Instagram and then you probably made fun of me at the bar-"
"Lando" I interrupted "Who cares what place you're starting? All that matters is that you go out there tomorrow and give it your all, and we were just joking on Instagram, we didn't even talk about quali downstairs"
"I'm sorry," Lando said
"Never apologise for that Lando" I giggled "I love you so much"
"I love you too" he smiled and kissed my neck lightly before looking up at me "What is it?"
"Nothing" I lied
"Scar" He tucked my hair behind my ear "Tell me the truth"
"I just can't wait for the race tomorrow and to finish this season-"
"You're joining Red Bull next year aren't you?" Lando asked
I sighed "Yeah"
"Hey" he gently held my chin "I'm happy for you, and I promise you it won't change a thing"
"Really?" I smiled
"Yeah" He grinned and kissed me lightly, I laughed as his hands gently ran up my sides and I ran my hands over his toned bare chest. I almost shivered as one of his hands ran up my spine to slowly pull my shirt up
Lando began to gently place kisses along my neck and I moaned when he flattened his tongue against my pulse point
He slipped my shirt over my head and I reconnected our lips. We broke apart and he rolled us over so he was on top, keeping my legs wrapped around his waist
Lando stopped kissing me and traced his hand over my cheekbone "You're so beautiful"
"Stop" I blushed
"You are" Lando leaned down to kiss my cheek gently "I'm so lucky to have you"
