I had a problem with overheating at the back of the car and it lead to this. It's annoying because up until then it'd been a good race. These things happen I guess 🖖🏼 #canadagp

Scarlett POV
"Lando?" I called out when I entered our hotel room "Lando?"
"In here" I heard his dull voice come from our bedroom, I sighed and opened the door to see him lying on the bed with his arms crossed and his eyes were fixed on his phone
"Are you okay?" I asked
"What do you think?" He rolled his eyes
"Love, it wasn't your fault" I walked over to him and sat next to him
"I'm just pissed!" He threw down his phone "I was having a good race! I could have gotten the points, but then that had to happen! It pisses me off!"
"Please don't blame yourself" I reached forward and held his hand gently "There was nothing you could do to stop it, it was out of your control"
"But why does it always happen to me?" He groaned
"It's happened to both of us" I squeezed his hand
"No, it hasn't! When has it ever happened to you?-"
"Remember last year in Formula 2?" I interrupted "In Abu Dhabi?"
"What about it?" He asked
"That was the race I needed to win in order to win the F2 championship against George, but then my car spun off the track and I didn't finish the race" He looked at me sadly "I know how you feel Lando, don't tell me otherwise"
"I'm sorry" He whispered "I forgot"
"It's fine, love" I smiled "Just don't be so hard on yourself, I'm always proud of you"
"I don't know what I would do without you" He grinned and pulled me into his chest
"You'd be single smart arse" I teased
"Well good thing I'm not" He winked and kissed the top of my head "I love you"
