"What did Christian mean by that comment?" Lando asked
We had left New York and were now on the plane back to London today
"I don't know" I lied and continued eating my lunch
"Scar" I ignored him and kept eating "Lettie" I still didn't reply "Scarlett"
"What?" I asked and looked up at him
"What's really going on? Just tell me the truth" He sighed and moved to sit on the seat next to me instead of opposite me
I frowned but gave up "While you were doing your track testing, Christian came to speak to me about a..." I took a deep breath "a possible move to Red Bull"
"Seriously?" He sat up and I nodded "That's amazing!"
I laughed and grabbed his hands between mine "I know that, but it would mean Pierre loses his seat and we would no longer be a team, I'd be racing with Max"
"But what did you tell him?" Lando asked
"I said I'd wait until the end of the season to give him an answer" I shrugged "Because I'm scared that I don't deserve that seat, or that we might not work"
"Hang on, you're scared to go for this amazing opportunity because of our relationship?" He looked confused "Darling, I want you to go for this, you're an amazing driver and you'd be a real threat to Lewis in a Red Bull"
"I just feel bad for taking a seat away from Pierre" I groaned "Because he's so talented and a great driver, so I'd feel really shit to make him lose one of the most coveted seats in F1"
"Think about it" He pleaded "The Red Bull factory is only around an hour away from ours, so we'd still live together and we can still travel together to races, plus there's time on the tracks all weekend"
"You're speaking as though I'm leaving" I laughed "Calm down babe"
"Sorry" He chuckled "Just promise me you'll think about it, please?"
"Fine" I groaned and leaned forward to kiss him lovingly
