"Babe" I walked over to where Lando was sitting "Max wants you to check your phone"
"Alright" I frowned and opened WhatsApp to see a message from Max
'Lettie, we need to talk to you this afternoon, Red Bull is having a party by the pier and Christian wants to talk to you'
"Damnit" I groaned "I need to go to the pier and speak to Christian"
"Go" Lando encouraged me "You know I want you to take this opportunity so you have to go"
"Fine" I sighed "I'll be right back" I fished through my suitcase and pulled out my outfit before running over to Lando on our bed

"You look gorgeous" He smiled "Go talk and have an open mind"
"I will, I promise" I smiled and kissed him lovingly "I'll see you soon, I love you"
"I love you too" He grinned and ushered me out the door. I got in my taxi and headed to the pier where there were white tents set up and everyone was holding a glass of champagne while going around to talk to everyone
I stepped out of the car and was immediately greeted by Max "Hello Scar, you look beautiful"
"Thank you" I smiled and he passed me a glass of champagne "So why am I here?"
"I think you know why" Christian interrupted and smiled at us "Since Pierre couldn't be here today, we thought it would be the best time to speak to you away from McLaren and him so we could properly discuss our offer"
"Alright" I nodded and drank some champagne
"Come on" Max led me over to a shaded area away from everyone with 3 sun chairs with pillows. I took a seat and Christian and Max sat with me
"So" Christian looked me in the eye "Ferrari and Mercedes both expressed an interest in you, but only for the far future when one of their drivers retired, however, we want to offer you a seat next season in the place of Pierre"
"I get that, but does Pierre know?" I asked
"Not yet," Max said "We need to see how the rest of the first half of season plays out for him, and then we can be one hundred percent certain on giving up his seat"
"So after Germany?"
"Yes" Christian replied "And you've scored points in every race so far, and beat Lewis Hamilton in a McLaren, so imagine what you could do in a Red Bull"
"I do really want to take this" I nodded "I just think Pierre deserves a fair chance and if, after the Singapore Grand Prix, you still want me on your team then I will discuss it with McLaren. But you should know that from now on I'm going to be pushing my hardest to win and prove to you that I can be a racer for you guys"
"Good" Max smiled "Because maybe we'll be partners by the end of the year"
"I hope so" I grinned "Thank you for this"
"Of course" Christian stood up "You're an amazing driver, so I want you to be able to show all your talent off"
"I hope I will" I shook their hands before getting back in the taxi and driving to the hotel. I went back up to our room and collapsed onto the bed with Lando
"How was it?" He asked
"It was good" I nodded and curled into his arms "I need to decide by Singapore"
"That's fine, just keep driving the way you normally do and impress him even more"
"I know" I grinned "I'll keep beating you all season"
"Good luck with that" Lando smirked, "You know how hot you look right now?"
"I always do" I teased "Max obviously liked it too, considering we were together at the pier"
"Well, I'm the only one who should see you like that" He warned
"Maybe you should ask Max if he liked it" I bit my lip
"I think I like what's under it even more" He grinned and leaned over me
"Oh really?" I smirked, "You wanna find out?"
"I think I will" He winked and leaned down to connect our lips
