"Babe" I sighed and lay my head on Lando's chest "Stop blaming yourself"
"I had such a good race!" He snapped "I was supposed to be in Seventh! It was unfair!"
"I know" I mumbled "I love you no matter what place you come, you can't be so hard on yourself; it kills me to see you like this"
He sighed and pulled me up so our faces were level, I straddled his waist and pulled us both to sit up "I'm sorry" He whispered and buried his face in my neck "I love you too"
I smiled and felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, so I pulled it out and read my messages "Babe" I said "Ricciardo got 2 penalties! He's in P11 which means you're in P9!"
"Seriously?" Lando asked
"Yeah" I smiled "I'm so happy for you"
"Did Christian speak to you today?" Lando asked
"Yeah" I nodded "I beat Pierre again, and even though I'm now in 6th for the Championship, they still want me on the team"
"I'm unbelievably proud of you" Lando smiled and tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ear "How about instead of going out for a date, we just order room service and put on a movie?"
