Kill the Dangerous Food!

Tatsumi POV

"So, his name was Hibiki... what about the name the guards called him, Nox?" Asked Najenda.

She had called everyone for a debriefing of Cyrus, Lubba, and Chelsea's mission. Apparently Cyrus fought a really tough dude that used an eye Teigu of some sort, Sagittarius.

Najenda was pleased to hear about the target being killed, but not so much about Cyrus taking on Nox alone.

Cyrus coughed. "It could just be a stage name, kinda like how I'm called Smoke." he said.

Najenda nodded and wrote something on a paper, wrapped it up, and put it in a message tube on a messaging bird. it flew out the window.

"We should get would on the reaction in the capital soon, but in the meantime, relax. You did well even though you were reckless." she said while glaring at Cyrus.

"Relax, huh?" He said, staring out the window. "Tatsumi, wanna train or something?" He asked me.

A smile welled up on my face. "Yeah! let's go!" I said and we both ran down to the training yard.

ten minutes later...

"How again..." Said Cyrus. "Is this training?"

In front of us sat giant plates of food. but this wasn't any ordinary food, no, this was made by the devil herself!

"I hope you like it! I tried my best!" Said Leone with a big smile, she had a chef hat on.

"To answer your question, Cyrus." I said, slowly looking at him. "This is allowing us to train because it's made from Leone. It takes strength to pull it down your throat, courage to eat it, and intelligence to know which parts will kill you!" I said with an epic voice, trying not to cry.

Cyrus stared at the grotesque thing in front of us.

"I think any part of this would kill us." he said.

"Yeah. maybe we shouldn't..." I started to say, but when me and Cyrus looked at Leone, she had eyes of a baby deer.

The color drained from Cyrus and mines faces.

"Hell, here I come." said Cyrus as he lifted his spoon.

I lift mine as well, tears in my eyes.

"I regret nothing." I said.

Together, we both took our first bite. Suddenly, the world did a flip, and I was suddenly on the floor, I couldn't stand.

I look over at Cyrus to see how he's doing, but he's already vomiting in the trash. He's crying as well.

"I-I can't stop!" He said in between vomiting.

Suddenly I felt it. the pain in my stomach, it felt as if something was alive in my stomach. It was scratching on the sides of my belly and trying to get out. soon I felt a sudden urge to-

I sprint over to the trash where Cyrus is and vomit with him. in the Background you can hear Leone talking to Akame.

"Looks like I need more training!" Leone said, at least she wasn't hurt or anything.

Suddenly, something grabbed my leg.

"What the-" I said, but before I knew it, I was upside down.

Cyrus looked shocked as he stared up at me, his color changing eyes full of horror.

"Oh. My. Pop tarts!" He screamed.

I look at what's grappled me, and instantly scream. It seems that the foods that Leone created didn't like our reaction to us eating it. It was a giant mass of blob, food mixed in a big blob of jelly.

Lubba in the background screamed once he walked outside to see what the fuss was about.

"I- it's Alive!" Lubba screamed.

The food glared at him with meaty eyes and swatted him back inside.

Leone laughed as Akame just stared at the food.

"this is the best! who says 'oh my Pop tarts' anyway! your so funny Cyrus!" She said while trying to lean on Akame for support, she was laughing so much she couldn't stand.

Cyrus looked worried.

"Seriously though, why does the weirdest shit happen here?!" He yelled as he got grabbed by the food and flung across the training field.

Najenda was suddenly at the door.

"What the heck is... going... on?" She said, her words slowing down as she looked at the display before her.

Slowly, she slimmed back inside of the safety of HQ.

"Boss! Save me!" I said crying for help.

Then suddenly everyone heard a giant yell, silencing everyone.

"Shut! The HELL, UP!" screamed Mine.

she was at the door, with pumpkin, her Teigu Rifle. and it was aimed straight at the monster.

"I try to take one simple nap and this is what I wake up to?!" She yelled down at us, I could see steam coming from her ears.

"W-wait! don't shoot! you'll hit me!" I scream.

She gave me a death glare, aiming more carefully.

"I'm not aiming for the big blob thing. I'm aiming for you." she said with a dark tone.

Oh crap. I thought, but alas, it was too late. her gun fired, barely missing me by an inch, and destroyed the giant blob in an instant. all that was left was smoke and ash.

"I thought I was gonna die." I said as I layed on the ground next to Cyrus.

Cyrus sighed. "Well, it definitely takes courage to eat that."

We both stared into the sky as we heard Leone crying back near the kitchen.

"My baby! It's dead!" She cried.
