Cyrus POV

My heart hammered, my breath went away. Pain spread through my body, Tatsumi came to my side, catching me as I fell.

"You idiot! You still can't use it!" He said, angry with me.

I smirk. "Yes I can. But if I ignore the time limit, it takes the remaining months away from my lifespan."

Tatsumi's eyes widened. I nearly laugh at his face, but I spit out blood, I had used a lot of power from ignoring the time limit on that trump card, meaning that I'm completely useless now.

"That's nine months that you could have spent with us Dammit!" Tatsumi said with anger, I felt as if he'd slap me, but he didn't.

Beside us, Lubbock opened his eyes, his body had already healed, back to normal. He looked at his surroundings, then when he spotted me and Tatsumi, he looked stunned.

"Did you guys die too?!" He said with surprise. Me and Tatsumi look at each other, then laugh at his idiocy. Lubbock is still Lubbock. Tatsumi leaves my side and explains what I had done, at the end of his explanation, Lubbock hit me on the head.

"Idiot" He said.

He frown. "What do you mean idiot, idiot! I saved you!"

"Yeah, you did, and I'm grateful. But it still doesn't change the fact that you used your life to save mine!" He said with frustration. He was fuming pretty bad.

I sigh, smiling. "If it's to keep a promise, then I'll do anything."

Lubbock stared at me, then put out a hand, helping me up. He put my arm over his shoulder, holding me up and started to walk. Tatsumi equipped Incursio again, and scooped us up, jumping with all his might, carrying us out of the palace.

Landing on a nearby rooftop, I could already sense enemies that were following us. I look behind us to see a woman and a big fat guy. The big guy had face paint on, looking like a clown. And the girl had a pink dress on with a miniskirt (which was quite revealing). Her short orange hair listened in the moonlight.

"We've got ass holes at our six!" I said.

Tatsumi glanced behind us, he's studied the enemies as they got closer, then stopped, waving at us. "Go on ahead! I've got this!" He yelled.

I sure hope he did, otherwise he was writing his funeral plan. Lubbock jumped a building, across the rooftops with me on his back. He must feel like he hasn't moved his body in ages, his legs look wobbly.

I look at Tatsumi.
Don't die, but unless you want me spending a whole year of my life.

Tatsumi POV

The big guy, Champ, instantly took no interest in me, which made me let out a breath I'd been holding in. But I'm still not that lucky, The girl, Cosmina, Looked at me with a weird look in her eye.

"Oh! your cute! aren't you Esdeathe's play toy?" She said, smiling as she got closer.

I don't want to know what she thinks of Esdeathe right now, I just wanna kill them and be on my way.

She rubs her chin. "Wait! How about it? wanna become my toy?!" She said with a big smile.

I instantly feel like running for a second, but then I tell myself to stand my ground, don't show fear to the enemy. The last time you showed fear... Leone suffered for it. Not this time, I won't that happen again!

I charge forward, but she raises her Mic, which confuses me at first, but when she talks into it, my ears feel like they've been hammered in. She screams into it, Sending vibration through my whole body.
