NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK; It was quiet when they arrived back at the Avengers Tower. The door to Emma's bedroom opened and Spider-Man strolled in, holding the still unconscious Emma in his arms. He gently placed her on her large bed before he gazed down at her, his mask still gripped in his hand. He reached down and carefully moved the blonde hair out of her face, his brows furrowed up.

"Please wake up, Emma," he whispered.

"Emma...?!"

Peter spun around just when a desperate, and tear eyed Pepper Potts ran into the room. She broke into half a sob when she spotted her motionless daughter in her bed. She ran forward, grabbing hold of her hand as Peter slowly backed up out of the room, watching Emma intently.

"Oh, my baby," Pepper cried, cupping her pale face, noticing how weak she looked, as well as the cuts and bruises on her body, "My little girl...what happened to you?"

Peter just watched, wide eyed with tears, unable to think straight. He wasn't sure he'd be able to again until Emma opened her eyes. Until he knew she was okay. Until she smiled at him again. Until he could hold her again.

The elevator door opened and Peter hesitantly glanced over to find Allie and Tony running off of it. Allie was out of her uniform, in regular clothes with her hair extensions out. To Peter, she looked like Emma's cousin again. Him still unaware who she really was.

Tony was out of his suit, a desperate and pleading look in his eyes. He needed to see his daughter. His eyes were placed on Peter, who nervously looked at him.

"Where is...?" and Peter pointed at Emma's bedroom.

Tony dashed in, Allie following along. The girl had to keep him on his feet when he almost collapsed to the ground at the sight of Emma. For a split moment, he thought she was dead. That was how pale and weak she looked.

He hesitantly moved forward, sitting down on the bed next to a leaned down, crying Pepper. He cupped his unconscious daughter's face, almost like he was trying to will her to wake up. "Come on...Emma...come on, honey. I know you can..." his voice wavered, causing the already distraught Peter to bite down on his lip, "I know you can wake up. Please, don't..."

With a heavy sigh, Allie slowly turned back to face Peter, just as a tear dropped down his face. She stepped towards him and he glanced down at her. "Maybe...Maybe you should go," she quietly said but he shook his head.

"No," he said, "No, I'm not leaving until she wakes up. Until I know she's okay. Until I know she's n...not—"

"Parker," Allie sternly said, "Emma will be okay. But...I think we both know you don't want to see this side of your idol."

"I don't care what I see," Peter told her, "I am not leaving Emma."

Allie hesitantly nodded before pursing her lips. "At least...go home and change," she said and he gave her a look, "Emma will still be here when you come back. Just go and change out of your suit...Spider-Man."

From that, Peter glanced down at himself before cringing, forgetting he was wearing his suit without his mask. "Crap!" he muttered before desperately looking at Allie, "Please don't tell anyone..."

"If you go home and change, I won't," Allie said and he gave her a slight annoyed pout before running off towards the elevator.

As soon as he was gone, Allie stepped back into Emma's bedroom, watching Tony and Pepper clutch to their daughter desperately. She sharply breathed before saying, "Tony..." And he slowly looked back at her, "We need to get her to a hospital."

He looked back at Emma, shaking his head no as Allie stared at him shocked. "No, we can't risk it," he said as Pepper slowly looked up at him, unable to believe what she was hearing.
