Miss Steel leaped over the tall gate, running after Spider-Man as they passed two men playing ping-pong in their garage. "Hey, guys. Good game. Have fun," Spider-Man told them.
"Sorry," Miss Steel muttered to them.
The neighbors stopped their game and stared after the two in disbelief as they ran across the yard. But then a dog ran up to them, barking and standing on its hind legs to lick Spider-Man's face.
"Hey, hey, buddy," Spider-Man said before he retrieved a nearby ball with his web and threw it to the side, "Sorry, no time to play. Here, go fetch."
At once Spider-Man shot a web, pulling himself off the ground as Miss Steel jumped into the air, flying through the air. He cheered loudly as he swung through the neighborhood and Miss Steel couldn't help but crack a smile.
"Now, this is more like it!"
He swung into another yard, and shot a web, but accidentally held onto a treehouse and knocked it off the tree. Miss Steel cringed to herself as he lost his grasp, crashing into the roof of a shed.
After a few awkward banging noises, Spider-Man ripped through the door, ran across the yard, and slammed through a wooden fence. Miss Steel shook her head annoyed when he leaped into the air only to land on a small toy car, which rolled forward.
Losing his balance, Spider-Man got tangled in a soccer net and stumbled through the hedge. And afterwards, Miss Steel shouted, "You're an idiot!"
"Don't you think I know that!" he shouted back.
With him running through backyards and her zooming through the sky, Spider-Man and Miss Steel crashed through another yard where a pool party assembled. The movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off played when they flew through causing Spider-Man to yell, "Great movie!"
Spider-Man skimmed over the pool, splashing water over the partygoers, causing them to scream in surprise. He swung upwards, crashing into Miss Steel in process, causing her to yell out in surprise as well. He accidentally tangled them in fairy lights hanging in the trees before they crashed into the next backyard, landing right before two little girls having a sleepover in a tent.
Miss Steel and Spider-Man deeply sighed before looking at the little girls who stared at them in shock. "Oh, hey, guys," Spider-Man said as the eyes on his mask malfunctioned, fluttering open and close in a creepy fashion.
The two girls screamed in terror causing the two heroes to panic. Miss Steel quickly pushed Spider-Man off of her, jumping to her feet as he rolled around, trying to get the fairy lights off of him.
Meanwhile, at the party, with music loudly playing around him, Ned stealthily brought his phone up to his ear, only to reach Peter's voicemail. Again.
"Hey, it's Peter. Leave a message."
After the phone played the beeping tone, Ned whispered into the phone, "Peter, where are you? The hat's not working. This is not cool."
At the same moment, the van zoomed down the suburban street, smoke billowing out from the back of it when Spider-Man and Miss Steel dropped from above, narrowly missing the car. Miss Steel groaned annoyed as Spider-Man quickly pulled her to her feet.
"Almost got you," he muttered towards the van.
Miss Steel leaped into the air again as Spider-Man leaped up onto a roof, running across the roofs of neighboring houses. He tried his best to keep the van in sight as Miss Steel was getting close to it, while also keeping an eye on Spider-Man.
But when he was getting annoyingly behind, Miss Steel shook her head before changing her direction and flying over to him.
"Thought you got away from me, didn't you?" he panted, "I got you right where I want you."
