When Emma found Allie, she was talking to Michelle in the kitchen. More like whispering, discussing something serious. Emma furrowed her brows concerned before she called, "Alex."
The two quickly spun around, shutting down their chatter and staring at the Stark tensed. "Hey, Emma," Allie smiled, "How are you? Are you having fun? Has Spider-Man shown up yet?"
"Um, no—"
"Perfect," Allie said before she reached out and grabbed hold of the golden haired's shoulders, "Can you pretty please get me a drink?"
"Pretty...please...?" Emma questioned. The way she was acting was not the Allie she knew.
Allie stared at her tense before saying, "Go get me a drink before I gut you like a fish."
"Okay, violent," Emma murmured as Allie smiled, and held that smile as her friend walked off. Both Allie and Michelle tilted their bodies to the side, watching Emma go to the drink table in the living room. And once there, Michelle began to softly smack Allie's arm.
"Go, go, go," she said as Allie ran off, sliding through the house until she found Peter.
She slid before him and Ned, out of breath but they wouldn't know. She seemed cool as a cucumber. The both of them stared at her oddly as she folded her arms.
"Sup," she muttered, blowing a piece of her platinum hair out of her face.
"Alex?" Peter asked, "What are you doing?"
"Get me a drink," she ordered.
"Why—?"
"Now," she sternly said and he flinched, staggering forward and into the living room. She smiled to herself, watching Peter go to the same place Emma was at.
"How do you know Peter is Spider-Man?" Ned asked.
Slowly, Allie turned around and faced him, giving him a look. He stared at her suddenly tensed as she said, "Talk about that even louder and see what happens. Someone could overhear you."
Without another word, Allie walked past him and Ned watched her with an odd look. She, within seconds, met up with Michelle, standing in the kitchen with a perfect view of the living room. And from there — all they could do was watch.
At the drink table, Emma was filling up a red solo cup of punch for Allie when Peter walked over. Only for him to stumble in his spot at the sight of her. He lightly smiled to himself, hoping to continue their conversation as he approached.
"Hey," he said and Emma looked at him, suddenly smiling.
"Hi, Peter," she said.
"I thought you were looking for Alex, I actually just saw her—"
"I'm getting this drink for her," she told him and he stared at her suddenly confused.
"That's...odd. She just sent me over to get her a drink," he said and now Emma was confused.
Until they both glanced over in Allie's direction, realizing she had set them up to interact. It became bluntly obvious when Allie quickly pulled herself down behind the counter, pulling Michelle with her.
"Hmm," Emma hummed, shaking her head, "Mischievous as always."
"Were they trying to set us up—?"
"Mhm."
"Oh—"
"She is acting so odd," Emma said, "Trying to play matchmaker with a guy who..." she began to laugh, almost hysterically, "...with a guy who literally likes someone else. She..." Emma sighed as Peter's eyes softened, "She is so obviously bored with our new life—"
