Water flooded the cargo hold, pushing all the cars forward.
People clung to the posts as the stream rushed past them.
On the upper level, passengers slid down the floor of the leaning ferry. There with them was Lady Rodgers, trying to help them keep steady, but found herself tumbling forward as well.
The gap widened as the web strands continued to snap. But Spider-Man leaped into the air and grabbed a thread before shooting another.
Miss Steel gasped, watching as, arms outstretched, Spider-Man hung between the two sides, holding them together. He yelled out, trying to hold the entire boat from falling apart.
Lidianna quickly stepped in, shooting into the sky before pulling her hands together, blue-green magic releasing from her palms, helping pull the ferry together. But it would not fix the boat.
Suddenly, the two sides began to move towards each other, mechanically. Lidianna glanced down confused as well as Spider-Man.
"What the hell?" he asked before he landed gently into the seating area, glancing around. Lidianna darted into the air to get a closer look at what could be happening. And when she found her answers, her expression dropped. "Bloody hell," she muttered.
Miss Steel carefully but swiftly pushed her way through the crowd and stood next to Spider-Man, continuing to hold onto the little girl. And when she saw what was causing the boat to come together, the girl began to slowly panic.
"What the hell..." she murmured.
From the window across from them, Iron Man rose into view, staring darkly at the two heroes. "Hi, Spider-Man," he darkly, yet sarcastically said, "Band practice, was it?"
Miss Steel stared at her father panicked, her eyes widening in fear. He still had no one idea what she had been up to while he's been gone. She quickly turned away, not giving him enough time to recognize her. She began to carefully walk down the deck, trying to help find the little girl's parents.
As she did, drones arrived and attached themselves to the other half of the boat. Thrusters propelled the two halves of the ferry forward and join them together.
Once the ferry was back in place, Iron Man shot Spider-Man one last look through the window before flying off. And the man from before shouted, "Yeah, Iron Man!"
With the ferry in one piece, Miss Steel was very easily able to find the little girl's parents. With two mothers calling out for an, "America! America! Where do you go?!"
Miss Steel smiled to herself before quickly approaching the two. "Excuse me?" she asked and the two quickly looked back at her, their eyes lighting up when seeing their daughter in the blonde's arms, "Is this your daughter?"
"America!"
Miss Steel happily handed America over to one of her moms as the other one cried, "Thank you, Miss Steel! Thank you so much!"
The blonde gazed at her with a slow smile before nodding. "Of course, ma'am," she said before she turned, quickly walking off through the now fixed sitting area. Until...
"Miss Steel!"
And she glanced back to find America, holding her fist out with a smile on her. The blonde slowly smiled back before holding her fist out, too. And then she took off towards where she left Spider-Man, to find he was gone.

In the cargo hold, while Iron Man welded the ferry back together, Spider-Man had swung into it, crawling the ceiling after him. But when Iron Man flew out, Spider-Man swung after him. "Uh, Mr. Stark?" he called out.
