A little over a month ago, I made an announcement about my hiatus, but I'm not sure everyone saw it.
As usual I bit off more than I could chew. I got a new job that was a whole lot harder than my previous one, while trying to juggle various Wattpad Ambassador duties, and plan my first ever author's showcase for my poetry book.
At certain points the stress was so much, I seriously considered cancelling my membership to adulthood and becoming a kid again. But...I made it through. Peak season at my job is pretty much over and my author's showcase went well!
I have to say, I really missed you guys! I saw all of your messages and comments asking about when I was going to update, and they made me smile. I missed Misery and the gang, and Ellis, Finley, and Ross too!
It was such a pleasure being a Wattpad Ambassador. I loved reading everyone's stories, coming up with contests, and conversing with my fellow ambassadors, but I knew stepping down was the right thing to do at this point in time. I need to decompress, and I think getting back to my writing will help me do just that.

Sienna + Jae
It's a lot longer than I anticipated, but you all know me by now, so is that really a surprise? It was fun to write a dynamic so different than Miz and Rocco's while still being in the same universe. And the words flowed, but Jae fought me sometimes. As a supporting character in Misery Loves Company, he was a bit of an enigma (a moody enigma lol), so in this book I tried to make his motivations clear, and finally reveal the reason for his prickly demeanor. The one shot is told in first-person by Sienna, so it was a bit difficult to make that happen at times, but I think I managed okay.
I hope you guys enjoy it even though I couldn't flesh out everything I wanted since at the end of the day it's just a one shot.

I'm so sorry I left you guys on that cliffhanger. I truly didn't plan to. I hope this chapter will make you forgive me. Until then, you have time to re-read it in preparation for the next update XD

I already know this one's gonna be intense, because of Josh's crazy backstory and family. Yikes! I'm scared to write his dad, and more of Julian.

I was gonna do his story after Ji-Hyun and Dom's, but I think I want it to be the grand finale. The final curtain call. Any guesses as to who his romantic interest may be?
