Jin Pov:

I watch as Jimin slams the door shut in frustration. "That was the worst night ever!" He exclaims. "I won't be going back to that place ever again. Alpha's like him are the reason why other Alpha's have a bad reputation." I guess we both had a bad night.

" He freaking told me that "One night stands, lonely regrets" is what I was created for. Like, who says stuff like that. I get it when you make your jokes, but for someone to actually say that to me outside of here. That hurts!" Jimin was crying. He didn't have a thick skin for things like that.

"Aww, come here, my little Minnie Winnie, don't cry, that's just the opinion of some jerk who was trying to get into your pants. He's just mad because you denied him. That's all it comes down to." I rub his back, trying to comfort him.

"You are right, Jin, but it still hurts," he says with a hiccup as he continues to cry. "I know, I know, I am sorry you had to hear that. He's a jerk, one you don't have to meet again." I reassured him while giving him a smile. "Sorry, I messed up your shirt." I look down to see his makeup, and mascara was all over me from his crying."Don't worry about it."

"by the way, who was that guy that was holding onto you. You guys hit it off?" He questioned. I immediately cringed. "Don't even mention him. While you were dealing with your crazy, so was I. Let's just say this was not the night to go to a new club. We would've been better off going to our usual spot. Let us not do this ever again." I told him"Agreed," he commented***********************The weekend had passed by with a blur. Sunday, I ended up doing some work for work. Then I went out for ice cream and cake with Jimin. Which I had promised him after our hellish night on Friday. The one thing I adored about Jimin was that even though he claimed he wanted a rich husband, he was really a simple guy. It didn't take very much to make him happy. He just wanted to be loved. A real softie on the inside.

I was not looking forward to today at all. I was already in the office, getting things ready for today's meeting. My CEO was adamant about having us everything prepped and ready for the meeting. He claimed that even though this was our competitor, this project was a big deal, and no mistakes could be made.

Great! Now I had to be on my P's and Q's. Everyone seems to be afraid of  Kim Taehyung Corp, aka Kim's Corp. CEO, like this guy, even had my boss scared. I don't know what had everyone so scared; I was the one who they handpicked to work directly with him. The other team members only need to assist, they weren't required to travel with him.

"Seokjin, it's time, meet us in the conference room on the 42nd floor." My coworker Scott informed me.

"Alrighty, I will meet you guys there," I told him and began gathering my things. My phone started to ring, I looked and realized that it was my father. He never calls me at work, so I quickly pick up.

"Hey, Dad, what's up?" I ask him in a rush

"Sorry son, your mother is throwing a fit saying you don't come and visit anymore, she's not talking to me until I call you to confirm you will pay us a visit soon." I could hear the pleading in his voice. My mother was known to be a hardass when she wanted to be one.

"Seriously? Fine, tell her I will make time this weekend." I told him, trying to get him off the phone, I was already 5 minutes late to the meeting.

"Is that a promise?" I hear my mother yell in the background

"I can't promise mom, but I will try. I gotta go." I told them and hung up before they could respond. Seriously, that's what they called me for. Couldn't they have sent that in a text?

I quickly made it out of my office and to the elevator. By the time I got to the 42nd floor, I was more than 15 minutes late. I silently prayed that the CEO of Kim's Corp was not there as of yet. This certainly would not be a great first impression.

Once I found the conference room, I entered and to my surprise, right in front of everyone stood the man from Friday night. No way in hell that could be Kim Taehyung, I thought to myself as I stared at him.

He was looking right back at me with a smirk on his face. "Well, well, look what we have here. First, you made a stink at my friends' club about not wanting to pay for your drink as well as cursed me out, and now you show up to my meeting late? The disrespect is real!"

No, No, NO! Did he just say that? I immediately looked at my boss, who was now ten shades of red.  Shit!
