Alexandra Daddario is sitting on their couch while watching television in their house in New York City.
“Hahahaha! That is so hilarious! Hahaha!” said Alex.
RIIIING! RIIIING! RIIING!
Alex got up and answered the phone.
“Alexandra Daddario speaking, who’s this?”
While Alex is on the phone, her mother, Christina, came out of the kitchen and saw her daughter speaking to someone over the phone.
After Alex’s phone call Christina asked, “Is that Jason?”
Jason Fuchs is Alex’s ‘ex-boyfriend’. They broke up three weeks ago.
“Honestly, mom, it’s not him. I know that you like him a lot. But it’s over. We’re done”, Alex said.
“I know, honey, it’s just that I can’t help it. Jason is a nice guy. I still don’t get why you broke up with him”, Christina said.
“Mom, first things first, I’m not the one who ended it. It’s him. Yeah, he’s nice but we still have a lot of differences. It’s not enough that you love someone. Saying ‘I love you’ is not enough”, Alex said.
“But what if Jason has already changed his mind? Will you accept him?” Christina asked.
“I don’t want to disappoint you but I don’t think so.” Alex said.
“But you still love him?” Christina asked.
“I will definitely lie to you if I’m going to say no. We’ve been apart for just three weeks. It’s not easy to forget him. But I want to. I want to move on. Can we please drop this? Oh, and by the way, it’s Chris Columbus, the Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief director, who called. He just confirmed me that I already got the role of Annabeth.” Alex said.
“Really? Oh Jesus! I’m so proud of you! So, when will you start filming it?” Christina asked.
“Next week. I’m really so excited to meet the cast. And before I forgot, he also asked me if I’m free tomorrow night because he’s planning to have a dinner with the whole cast. I already said yes without your permission. Is that okay?” Alex said.
“Of course, honey. Well, I hope you enjoy.” Christina said and she left Alex watching t.v.
