(3) Girl Crazy Bucky

-6 years later-

It was the day of Steve's 14th birthday they were all at the camp ground they were going to camp for the weekend.

James and Winnie pulled in last "sorry we are late James wanted to bring his girlfriend Delaney." James said 

Wanda and Natasha and Sam's girl Valerie came running over to her and hugged her. Ellie Kate looked down wiped a few tears that had fallen. She went to her tent and zipped her up in it. She started to cry in her pillow. Bucky didn't know that Ellie Kate liked him but he never saw Ellie Kate as anything more than the person he went to when he needed help with homework just like the rest of the kids. 

Ryan went to find her when it was time for fireworks a few hours later but found her asleep in her tent. "Is she okay she seemed upset earlier?' Ryan heard behind him. He turned to see Bucky standing there. 

"Yeah I'm sure she just read her book till she fell asleep." Ryan said 

Bucky and Delaney were in his tent "Whose the girl with the glasses." She whispered 

"Oh that's Ellie Kate Cooper. Ryan and Taylor's daughter." he whispered 

She looked at him confused "That's their daughter what the hell happened there? Taylor is known as this great wonderful cheerleader and Ryan I have heard my dad talk about how great of a quarterback he was in high school." she said 

"Shh don't..it starts a major fight." he said 

The next morning Delaney found Ellie Kate coming back from the bathrooms.

"hey how come you aren't a cheerleader like your mom was..I mean it must be embarrassing for her to have a daughter that is such a nerd." Delaney said 

She looked down. 

"There's no way you can be Taylor's daughter. You are way to quiet and nerdy. It's pretty sad." Delaney said a little loud. 

"Just leave me alone! I'm sorry that everyone knows my parents and I am some how this freaking joke." Ellie Kate ran away in tears.

"Well maybe if you were a cheerleader nobody would treat it like a joke. Especially since you play soccer and softball instead of being at my games cheering with the girls." Bucky said 

"I don't want to be some prissy Barbie that only cares about how she looks. I rather have a brain and do something with my life then be another statistic or be pawned at like a piece of meat." she said 

"Still believing in fairytales I see. You know Ellie its pretty sad honestly." Bucky said 

"Shut up James." She said

"Make me shut up Ellie Kate. You know this is why none of us talk to you." He said

"Unless you all get on probation then Im the first person you call right? Excuse me for having brain instead of spreading my legs." She said

"Maybe you should. You might be less uptight and might actually act like a girl." He said as he got in her face.

"Elliot Katherine thats enough." Ryan said

"Same for you James." James said

Ellie walked away from him and started to take down her tent "Ellie" Ryan said as he walked over to her. She packed up her stuff and got her phone out "Ellie Kate " Ryan said again.

"Just go away and leave me alone!!" she yelled then she called her grandma. She started to walk off then said "Not that you give two shits about me either dad I'm going to grandma's and I might as well go live with her. Since  she and grandpa are the only two people that give a crap about me and attend my games. That's right Delaney I play sports I play soccer volleyball softball and tennis and I do ballet and I don't care what you or anyone else thinks about me. I'm  going to be who I want to be rather anybody likes it or not. I dont want to be like my mother who seems to think cheer and dance are the only things in this world that matter. she said then walked to the parking lot.
