(8) Getting Ready For Vacation

Bucky and Ellie were both picked up by James from basketball practice. Taylor was at work and Ryan was still in court. Bucky looked in the back at her "dad can we get food?" He said

"Yeah.." he said

They stopped got some pizza. They ate their pizza when they got home. Winnie came in not to long after they did.

"So Ellie I need you to make a list of things you can eat. So we can make sure we get it." Winnie said

"Oh.." she said

"Mom its just nuts.." Bucky said

"No its not." She said

She took the piece of paper from Winnie. She wrote down:

*no nuts
*no chocolate
*no shellfish
*lactaid (lactose intolerant.)

Bucky read her list "you just ate cheese..." he said

"I picked it off to eat my pizza." She said

"Oh..that doesnt sound fun." He said then threw his plate away.

"Dad I need condoms.." Bucky said

"Okay.." James said

"That reminds me James. Ryan said that Ellie is allergic to latex. And in case we need to adminster her epi pens Im going to need latex free gloves." Winnie said

"Okay baby..you can come with me James since you said you didnt like the ones I got you last time." James said

"Okay.." Bucky said

Bucky showered and changed. Once he was done he left with James. Winnie texted James "And a pregnancy test."

He smiled. They started trying for another baby now that they are in a good place financially. They got to Walgreens Bucky left his dad to go to the condoms. He looked all over at them trying to determine which one to get.

His eyes landed on Durex Latex Free. He swallowed hard he grabbed the box and some lube. He checked out with the money his dad gave him he got some beef jerky as well.

James got back in the car. "Get what you needed" he said

"Yeah I did." Bucky said

"Good.." James said as he put his bag in Bucky's floor board.

"Thats a big bag dad. Mom just said two things." He said as he got in his dad's bag.

He saw the pregnancy test. "Dad? Mom is pregnant?" He said

"Well we have been trying." James said

"Oh.." he said

They made their way home. Ellie had gone on home since Ryan got out of court while they were gone. Ryan got her extra epi pens while he was out.

Taylor came home and went straight to bed she had a horrible headache.  Ryan and Ellie went to dinner with the Barnes and Bucky's girlfriend.

Ryan and Ellie went to Walmart to get what they needed for the trip after dinner. They were two weeks away from the trip.

The next day Bucky heard music in the auditorium as he was headed to the athlete hall. He peaked in to see Ellie dancing to "Waiting For Superman".

He smiled as he leaned against the wall to watch her. He left before she could see him.
