The next day, Alexandra was working in her lab on a long complex mathematical algorithm when Teigra walked into the room.

"Hi Alex." Teigra greeted

Alexandra turned around, "Naia, aren't you supposed to be in the infirmary?"

"Dr. Salinger said I was fine." Teigra responded

Alexandra nodded, "Oh. Well good morning then. How did you sleep?"

"Good." Teigra replied as she climbed up onto a chair and sat at the table "What are you working on?"

"It's a complex mathematical algorithm." Alexandra stated "It's the one Dale gave me yesterday. I'm working on solving it."

Teigra furrowed her eyebrows, "Why?"

"Because it's important for my job. It could prove useful in a lot of ways and help a lot of people solve other problems." Alexandra explained

Teigra nodded and studied the equation on the whiteboard. After a few moments, she picked up an eraser and whiteboard marker.

"Uh...Naia, what are you doing?" Alexandra questioned

Teigra ignored Alexandra's question as she erased part of the solved algorithm and then started writing out the solution that she configured in her head.

"I don't think you'll be able to solve this prob...." Alexandra started and then she trailed off shocked to find the correct answer written down at the bottom. "Well...I'll be damned. How'd you do that?"

Teigra shrugged, "I don't know. I just sensed it."

"Well that was incredible." Alexandra complimented

"I can't always do it. I just sense things sometimes, but I can't control it." Teigra responded. She stared at Alexandra, "You're worried about me. Why?"

Alexandra shook her head, "It's nothing. Don't worry about it, sweetheart."

"Dr. Salinger is worried about me too." Teigra added "Why?"

"Did you hear us talking?" Alexandra wondered

"No." Teigra replied "I told you, I can sense things. I've very perceptive."

Alexandra gave a nod, "Naia..." She started but then was interrupted by a loud beeping over the intercom.

Teigra looked around scared and nervous, "What's that noise? What's it for?"

"I'll be right back, Naia. Just stay here." Alexandra assured "I promise I'll be right back."

Teigra sighed as she thought 'Ugh! Adults. Why do they always treat kids like we're stupid or we can't handle stuff.'.

Meanwhile in the SCIF below the briefing room with Dale, Alexandra and Grey.

"What's going on?" Alexandra inquired

Grey shrugged his shoulders, "No idea, but it has to do with the machine."

"What happened?" Alexandra wondered

"We don't know. Grey and I were working together to try and make it work and this happened." Dale stated

"Will somebody please tell me what is going on." Alexandra snapped

Grey nodded, "Of course, Major Procter." He gestured to the office door, "You can come out now."

Someone walked out of the office. It looked like a teenage girl, but something about her told Alexandra that this teen was something more. Maybe it was the glowing wings behind her.
