Day one of training

Zagan smiled, "I've imagined this day since the day you were born. Although in my head, you were a lot younger."

"Okay, so first things first, figuring out what your powers are." Kasdeya said

"Great how do I do that?" Alexandra wondered

Zagan nodded, "Let's start with something basic. Shimmering. We already know that you have that power because of your demon side. What your have to do is......"

"She's shimmered before." Kasdeya interrupted

"I've shimmered before." Alexandra spoke at the same time as Kasdeya

Zagan took a breath, "Okay. Well the other powers are harder to discover. You'll have to wait until accidentally use it and then we'll work on controlling it."

Alexandra sighed, "Well that's frustrating."

"I know, but everyone goes through it." Teigra spoke "Even me. I'm still going through it."

"Well this should be interesting." Alexandra added

Many days had passed and there was still no sign of what Alexandra's powers were.

Meanwhile with Dale and Teigra, they had been on the tablet for almost two weeks and they had barely made any progress.

"I can't make heads or tails of some of these words." Dale said "Some of the words are derivatives of Latin, but some seem to be a different language all together."

"Well what do we have translated so far?" Teigra asked rhetorically before she read the translation that she had written down. "Aphrodite. Ní pleaded to zequod moon drenched night sky. Tell meni; if yeihlt aqé meant to heal, then why does it destroy those who choose it. From somewhere beyond zequod cloud, ní heard zequod goddess laugh. Zieti ní knew. Zequod only true treasure aqé yeihlt."

Dale nodded, "Yeah that's about it. This is so frustrating."

"Maybe we should take a break. My mom always said that if you take a break and come back later with fresh eyes, you might be able to see what you couldn't before." Teigra explained

Dale sighed but gave a nod, "Yeah. You're right. Or rather your mother is."

Teigra looked down sadly as she let out a sigh, "I miss my mom."

"Well at least you have your memories. And she'll live on in those who remember her." Dale told the girl "You just have to make sure that your little brother remembers her. Make sure he knows how much his mommy loved him and what she was like."

"I know." Teigra gave a sad smile. That was a lot of pressure for an eleven year old girl to have, but she was the only one who could do it.

Dale left the room to go to the cafeteria to get a bite to eat, while Teigra headed to go check on Alexandra. She wanted to know if her aunt had discovered one of her powers yet. However while she was walking to Alexandra's lab one of her cousins beamed in right in front of her.

"Eitan, you can do that here." Teigra exclaimed as she looked around to make sure that no one had seen.

Twelve year old Eitan Timoney nodded, "I know, but it's an emergency." He looked worried.

Teigra looked at him concerned, "What is it, E?"

"Word about Auntie Asha being alive has spread like wildfire. A faction has formed to kill her." Eitan explained

"Oh no." Teigra uttered "Alex isn't ready. She doesn't even know what her powers are yet."

Eitan pursed his lips, "Well you better get her ready because the faction is coming. And soon. Anyways I should go now. I just thought I should warn you."
